Original Video: • Queen - Bohemian Rhaps...
BTW. This was done in 1975. No digital, all analog over dubs. No auto tune, no filters, no corrections.
True singers
The layering and control on the production on this track is the bench mark we work towards, it’s a piece of art it’s in own right
Sir Dr. Brian May, the astrophysicist, on guitar. A guitar he built with his father. The incomparable Freddie and the steady John and incredible Roger. They were the perfect combination.
Yes he is Sir Brian, and will be known as Sir Brian from now on xx
I never knew that! Thanks.
He is a Sir now? or are they all Sirs now? (Freddy deserves it, even posthumous.)
Anyway... that is really awesome and so deserved.
Freddie was working on writing three different songs when he had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece.
Really, ? I never knew that, I don't no if I'm correct, but was it because of HIV he put basically the best song in the world to get her for world aid?
@@anthonyspurgatis5820 if you're referring to Live Aid, it was to send aid to Eithiopia where people were dying in large numbers due to famine. The Live Aid concert was in 1985, Freddie wasn't diagnosed until 1987.
@@anthonyspurgatis5820 Also, the song was written and recorded in 1975. Nobody really knows what Bohemian Rhapsody is about, except Freddy and maybe Brian.
The look on your face looking at her face (reaction) ...... priceless!
Amazing reaction! I love the way you kept looking over at her. Its like the first time I was watching you react to this song. I remember when this song came out in 75. I have loved it ever since. That was when they first started putting music back and forth in the headphones!
A great next video is, Somebody to Love, live in Montreal.
Freddie Mercury maybe the greatest male vocalist ever !!
I'm kind of glad, that anybody ever calls on the bassist. John Deacon is one of the most soulful bass player I've ever heard. Bless you...
Nice reaction. I think she may really like the studio and Montreal version of Somebody to Love
Iconic song, singer and band. I love this song, thank you.
Freddie Mercury was a song bird for real what a voice
I always recommend side black of their second album “Queen II,” especially “The March of the Black Queen” if you only have time for one song.
Queen can choke you up 😂😂✌🏼
A very nice reaction indeed! Cheers, from west coast Canada 🇨🇦, peace.
Top, very emotional and realy understandng she music....
Freddie was born in Stone Town, Zanzibar. I think in this song -- I killed a man, Put a gun against his head, Pulled my trigger now he is dead" -- he is referring to himself admitting that he is gay and he is leaving the old self behind.
Beautiful 💜💜💜
Check out Queen songs you probably haven't heard, "I want it all" "The miracle" "Who wants to live forever" "Radio Gaga" from their later 80's albums
So many good songs that so many haven't heard. Don't forget Love of my Life and You take my breath away. Two of my favorites.
lil nerd fact, this song as the first music video ever to use video effects ^_^
not only did they make a banger of a song, they also changed an entire industry :)
Wow 🥰 beautiful sweet Freddie ❤️ more queen and Freddie Mercury solo reactions please 😍
You are watching a masterpiece !!!
FYI, this song was released in *1975* not in the 90's. It's from their 1975 album, A Night at the Opera.
Here is information about that album en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Night_at_the_Opera_(Queen_album)
Thank you from Norway !!!! The energi opera/ song/ masterpies Bohemina rapsody - all made in Freddie Mercurys head : the man who does not fit in any boxes : man on the outside: women on the inside- born i Africa with parents from India / Persia - a refugees who become the most celebrated singe ever ! Love him !!! Love your reaction !
This song/music video is from 1975.
Rock opera. One of the best bands .believe Freddie's coming out song. He died from aids in 91.
hear dont stop me now by Queens
Everyone should listen to this song just for the pleasure the first time. Then for more depth, listen again with this in mind. Think of it as a three-part rock opera. The first sets the scene; I'm just a simple boy, easy come, easy go. Then doing something heinous - murder. Then recognizing the effect on himself and others around him. His world changes to one which is foreign and rhapsodic. The second is the trial with all its pleadings, arguments, counterarguments, circus, and chaos. Third, acceptance of the verdict. Note that the last note is s single strike on a cymbal, allowed to die completely. Death.
This masterpiece is just as relevant today, as it was when created. It will be relevant for as long as man is on this earth. Queen and Freddy Mercury will live forever based on this song alone.
Needless to say, I fall in the societal issue camp, as opposed to the metaphor camp, on this masterpiece. Being gay really mattered to Freddie. There would be no "Nothing matters". He would not want to be "let go".
If you ever feel down, do the muppet version of this song. (helps if you know the muppets, of course.)
If you like meaningful songs try Queen's You take my breath away or Love of my life. Only live versions with all 60's and 70's bands/singers. It will show you how talented they were and how almost no one today can be as good if not better live like they were back then. they all had fierce competition and tried to always be the ones with the number 1 hits and there were 100's of good bands back then. Not the mostly untalented ones they have today that get chosen for their looks and sex appeal and then get auto tuned because they can't sing. It didn't matter what you looked like back then. Look at the Bee Gees. Not that great looking but pumped out more hits than you can imagine not only for themselves but for a lot of other bands too.
Please react to white queen live performance Odeon Hammersmith 🤩 Freddie Mercury's vocals are absolutely breathtaking 😍
Try Freddy singing BARCELONA with Montserrat. A song he wrote for her, performed live at the Barcelona Olympics years later.
actually, I was wrong. It was never song at the Olympics Live by Freddie. He died in 1991. It was played there however.
This song is an anthem. He was dying of aids. Like so many queer people were in that time. Its why queen has such a big place in pride events.
If she is a vocal couch iam Kurt cobain lol
I was about to give you the compliment "Finally a youtuber that listens first and talks later"
And then you performed the ultimate act of sin.... cutting off Brian May's riffs...
I has a sad now
What an absolute unapropriate time to choose to pause
I hope your lady in this video is ok, that seems like a serious infection. Can you help her to get the medical attention that she needs, please.
Everything is a Jojo reference
When Freddy wrote, Bohemian Rhapsody, he had just found out his diagnosis of aids. He wasn’t yet sick, so he wrote this About his own life, and he was going to die
I don’t it’s right, just look at the timeline, Bohemian Rhapsody was written to early for being about aids
