Thank you for explaining the game. Trying to do trial of the champion in marauder faction. Did 2 requirements in brimstone. Couldn't do the 3rd and last requirement because I'm locked out of elysian wilds. How do I enter? I quit storyline when I couldn't defeat Jonas soul warden. Is that why? Thanks for your very informative videos. New subscriber here. Your awesome.
Hey! Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos 😊❤️ Yes to enter Elysian wilds you’ll have to continue the main story quest and it will take you there after you’re done with the brimstone arc 😊
Funny thing. The very first thing I did in the game as soon as I hit the first settlement. I ran to as many settlements and fast travel points as I could in every zone that I could reach.
You could farm artifacts, run mutated dungeons, craft them, open the daily CK epic crates - you just kind of find them playing organically Eventually you’ll want to farm or craft specific items. Named item crafts at the gypsum kiln is what most people do. For example, farm frigid dawn from glacial tarn and then upgrade it to 700 at the gypsum kiln 😊❤️
My favorite thing to do in NW is run expeditions - getting geared up to do M3s is a good fun challenge 😊 And yeah that doubloon grind is more than boring 😂💀
I occupy my time by gearing up, leveling crafting to make my own stuff (it’s a journey in and of itself just trying to make a Jewelry Matrix!), and chasing that coveted transmog option/token. I hate that it’s so hard to consistently get tokens without spending money, though. I believe every game like this should make transmog (and other forms of self-expression) much more readily accessible, though it does occupy much of my playtime chasing them down. Have you leveled up your favorite trade skill to 250? Have you reached 1 million gold ever? Have you ever made/sold a prismatic material? Completed the main storyline? Secondary/regional quests? Is your music skill past 205 - you can get there just researching music sheets as well)? I find I just don’t have enough time in the day after work and other life responsibilities to do everything I want to do. I honestly don’t relate to those saying there’s nothing to do at endgame. They’re usually people who rush to get world firsts or peak GS or some other narrowly focused objective, and then feel frustrated that there aren’t a dozen other narrowly focused goals to chase - they don’t love the game for the game’s sake, but rather, for what achievements they can get in as short a time as possible. My first character, I rushed to 65 because all the “pressure” from videos telling me I need to be 65 to do X, Y, or Z. I didn’t even have a 650 GS at that point because I went so fast, my gear was an afterthought. But, so was fishing, cooking, jewel-crafting… I didn’t do my first expedition until level 65 because I was anxious to play with other people. I didn’t even have a mic, but it was a blast! And much easier than I expected. I quickly reached 690 GS, and then spammed Mutated Ennead until I got every piece of the Grand Imperial armor set, and got tired of tanks not knowing how to control the Centurion or Apnu and Heru, so I geared up to tank (also for heavy gear drop bias), and then discovered that DPS try to tank, and over pull or early pull and cause TPKs. The grass wasn’t greener, but I learned that the Centurion guy is VERY hard to hold still, and that DPSers need to know boss mechanics and not just spam attacks. DPS need to know how to position to counter Apnu charges. They need to know how to focus Ads and also when to NOT ATTACK a boss so the Tank can recover lost aggro (due to many reasons, not just poor gear). There’s so much to do and learn, but if your interests aren’t diverse and you’re not willing to go out of your comfort zone, there’s just no other way to say that you will get bored. My advice to anyone for any game is to learn to love the fiction and world, not just the game. If you always play a stealthy ranger rogue archetype, try playing a fully armored axe-wielding tank, or try a bizarre combination like Fire Staff and Flail/Shield. You may discover that when you finally cast Meteor Shower while standing in your own purple Healing Rift that you’ve been playing it all wrong and you’re secretly a closet mage! But, if none of this sounds appealing, it’s also possible NW isn’t entirely your cup of tea, and that’s okay. Have some fun where you can, and move on. Try Throne & Liberty, or Destiny 2, or ESO.
@@TheFearGrizzly How many times do you run CK, idol, or one of the other 5 or 6 things you do every day. Thats the way it goes till they throw you a bone and update they you start all again.
PSA: All games use a gameplay loop. It’s literally how long-term games last: at endgame, you can’t get any higher level, so you just rinse and repeat the same tasks. It’s just a meme now to make these jokes about NW - just move on. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to play it. Fortnite, COD, WoW, ESO, Destiny 2, just a few games that are all “rinse and repeat.” Oooh! Try Baldur’s Gate 3! At Endgame, you can just walk away - no repeat necessary/possibl (except for a new game).
Great video! Love new world end game.
Thank you! 😊❤️

That was very smart! I bet that made questing so much better 😊❤️
@ questing was faster and I had tons of storage to just dump and go the entire time.
Where can I get gear lvl 700 weapons and armor?

I'm feeling a little stuck, I don't really love PVP and the dubloon grind bores me to tears

What you are saying at 65 its time to find a new game because it's just rinse and repeat.
I’m a big fan of finding another game when you’re no longer having fun - that’s what games are about 😊
You're wrong and that's ok. Don't waste peoples time with trash comments like this
