Join us in this vlog for another travel day adventure as we embark on our journey from London Heathrow to the pristine shores of the Maldives. Set your alarms for 4am as we kick off our day with the anticipation of an unforgettable trip.
We start with our journey to Heathrow Airport in style with Addison Lee, courtesy of our Emirates Business Class tickets. Enjoying the seamless convenience and comfort, we arrived at the airport relaxed and ready for our adventure. From start to finish, the luxury of our travel experience was evident, setting the tone for an unforgettable trip ahead.
But first, a taste of extravagance awaits in the Emirates Business Lounge, where we indulge in gourmet cuisine and unwind in style before our flight. As we soar through the skies aboard the Emirates A380, we are treated with incredible service and amenities, making every moment of our journey a delight.
Upon arrival in Dubai, we enjoyed our second Emirates Business Lounge before connecting onto our Fly Dubai flight aboard the 737 MAX to Malé, the gateway to the Maldives. Touching down in Male early in the morning, we're greeted by the warm embrace of the Maldivian sun, crystal clear waters & the incomparable kindness of the Ritz-Carlton airport staff. From the airport, we travel on a luxurious speed boat ride to the iconic Ritz-Carlton, Maldives.

As a certified mucky pup, I always take a change of T-shirt on travel days. I spill everything down myself. And it doesn’t matter what deodorant I wear, I stink of airport 😂 Loved this vlog.

I really want to go to the Maldives but nervous as an LGBT traveller. Is it very relaxed once you arrive?
Hi Nathan, thank you for your comment. We can only speak for our resort/island who couldn't be more accommodating to us & were all aware that we were together. There were other same sex couples there too, I don't know if this is the same on other islands? Hope this helps 😊

Question, as a gay couple going to the Maldives how have you been treated and how do you feel considering homosexuality isn’t really tolerated or legal in that part of the world? Really curious as I’ve always wanted to go but been scared to x

Hiya thank you for your comment! Sadly we're back home now in overcast England but editing the vlogs certainly makes us feel like a part of us is still there..
Of course wherever we travel we research our destination or countries we may be connecting through just to be sure of where we stand & we don't hold hands etc. within these. The Ritz-Carlton however is an international brand & we were super safe on our island/resort, we could behave like a couple, hold hands & was even encouraged by a photographer to kiss when taking a photo of us. I would always advise though, even at international resorts to still do your research.
