oh wow idk what happened, but there's been a random influx of people watching this vid for some reason! so hello! there's also another Q&A where shane speaks more german (idk the vid, i just specifically remember him saying KARTOFFEL and there was a picture of high school shane wearing a lederhosen). i might upload another ghoul boiz vid, but in the meantime, if you miss BFU supernatural and true crime, SUPPORT WATCHER ENTERTAINMENT: ruclips.net/channel/UCircJf-FlToBNjuy9xG-i5A

Honestly, there's a big difference between constructing sentences and just pronouncing stuff correctly. I took French for 4 years. Put a French text in front of me, and I would be able to read it out loud, mostly correct, but ask me to extract meaning from it? Nope, no can do.

    • @ally5618

      RIGHT

I don't really remember how to say anything, but if words are put in front of me, I can read them pretty well, because i learned german for 2 years and i understand the pronounciation rules. if i hadn't, i would be trying to do it using english rules, and butchering it.

I've been learning French for 9 years and I can only say "my name is..." "how are you" "I am tired" "do you speak english" and "I dont understand" so shane only knowing one sentence after 4 years isnt as bad as it sounds (or I just played even less attention in French class than shame did)
Edit: i do know more words, but those are really the only sentences i can put together, because I cant conjugate on the fly other than "to be" and "to have"
Edit 2: my 9 years of french is apparently only equivalent to french 1 in high school where I live, so if you are taking or took French in high school (excluding people whose native language is french, of course) that might give you a better understanding of my skill at french.
