🎉 Watching Josh's video in Jeju Island, Korea. My goal from a very old time, I'm not giving up on my life as a Canadian trucker. Watching Josh's video helps me learn a lot. Thank you Josh~~😅😅
They have a whole signed and signaled crosswalk? When I was a kid we had an old lady with a stop sign, an orange safety vest, and a crossing guard badge!
Quite the busy day today. You have a good attitude in dealing with issues, you get things fixed when they need to be. Wishing you, Brit, and Theo well!
Thought you would have gotten 2 new steers and kept the other for future back up. Either way is obviously fine. Sure glad you remembered to get your passport. SAFE TRAVELS 🙏
I sent the wife down to the service center and told her to put winter air in the tires, and to top off the blinker fluid. I hope I'm several states away when she gets back.
Josh, I just delivered in Minneapolis, I looked for you not knowing if you were in the area or not. I am calling Iowa 80 home tonight. I got 2 arm pumps on my route today the joy on those little boys faces was priceless. Stay safe out there Josh.
Had a Bridgestone do the same on my Pete. I replaced both with Michelins and had a three axel alignment preformed. Turns out my rear axle was just a small shim out of wack. Now the ole girl is back to rollin like a new one. Maybe have a three axel alignment check if you haven’t yet. My steer axle was great, first drive was great, but needed a shim on the driver side of the rear axel 👍🏼
I found out that in Southern East coast that I ran winter and early spring air in my tires. It held up much longer than summer air and fall air. The only thing I could figure out is the air is cooler and the tires don't heat up as much. Thanks for the great video.
I had bought a new set of kk penner...but unfortunately they only lasted for 4 months or so started capping bad. Switched to Michelins haven't had any issues...good luck
So far my Firestones have held up and had good results but might have to try them Blackhawks because Michelins are pricing themselves out of the market!!! Then they wonder why there's so much offshore product coming in!
I feel like that's something that should be taught to all new drivers is that I don't care who you are or how much of a hurry you're in if you see anyone at a crosswalk just stop and let him through like it's not worth it it is so not worth it
Hey josh im trying to get a logging crew together on farm sim 22 and need someone to drive the truck so do u want to pull logs for me 🤣🤣 jk ur a busy man so ik u wont have time to do that lol but love the videos tho keep up the awesome job 😊
I wish you luck but that is a regional steer tire. For your operation I would rather have the line haul tire like the firestone with the decoupling groove on the edge. I agree the 591 is not what the old 590 firestone used to be for sure.
@@Trucker_Josh not really. You do alot if miles. Without the decoupler groove tires are more for city type short haul work. Who knows they may do well. I will be interested to see as they wear.
@@Lostagain9859Blackhawk does make a steer tire with the decoupler groves it’s the BFL56 FST that @Trucker_Josh could try if these don’t do well for him but in my experience I have run both and haven’t really see much if any difference and I run Midwest to East coast a few times a year I might do a trip out west so similar to Josh I run regional and long haul, but every truck is a little different and everyone journey and experience is a little different so it’s hard to say how it will go, only time will tell.
@@Trucker_JoshI have ran both “regional” steers and “long haul” steers and haven’t really seen any difference, may differ for some people but that my experience.
O dont forget to check the psi in both steers or one may wear weird since its harder than the other one not sure if it will matter but ill always say its better to be safe than sorry
That's exactly what happened to the drive tire he had to replace. The tech didn't equalize them when he mounted it., and after expansion it ended up carrying more weight than the inner. Anyway, I would have replaced them both and kept the good Firestone as a spare. I'm sure he has a wheel somewhere.
@@oldgrayghost yup i remember that thats y i said it idk if its the same for the steers but its differently worth making them the same just incase it will wear uneven like the duals do i think if one has more than the other it might cause it would take abit more of the load since its harder and more air means more weight to make it flex so if ones harder it will make the axle unlevel and wear weird or it will take more weight which will wear it faster than the other one but i could be wrong i dont make tires for a living
@@oldgrayghost doing both would be nice but i get y he did one cause they aint cheap and he needs money for everything for his fam and if his truck brakes he needs money so he prob couldnt afford it right yet with all the other bills and stuff id personally do both also but if u dont have that right now then u cant do it and no reason to risk not having money for his fam or truck repairs if needed remember he owns the truck so all repairs he pays for not the company
Hey just a thought, me and my wife have a bet on her favorite NFL team the Pittsburgh Steelers, if they lose a game she has to wash and wax my truck. Just a thought, stay safe and greetings from Kingman Az.
What is the rolling resistance on those black hawks tires? Maybe your fuel mileage will drop by a small amount? Cheaper tire may cost you extra fuel over the next couple years.

Another great video Josh. Liking the way you kept back of the pedestrian crossing. Well done buddy and stay safe.👌

I do believe your tires are filled with premium "hot" air. LOL Thanks for taking us along. Take care and drive safely Trucker Josh.

Good morning josh. 😊
Those headlights are amazing
1:50 i did this once at kiel canal in germany as a cruise ship passed. i think the captain saw this... those things get pretty loud! :D

Hankook tyres doing well here (the netherlands)

It's nice to hear you're using a steer tire made in Vietnam. I'm Vietnamese. 😀
Quite a busy fellow❤
So that’s quite the steal there bud. You got lucky with that one.

I got 187,000 miles out of my Michelin steers. Wore down perfectly even
Yeah, it’s a long list of upgrades to the truck that need to be done but one of the time
That's a big header at the first stop.
I had to get new steer tires in the spring because mine was wearing out the drivers side.
Stay safe
Blackhawks are Good Tires My Old Boss put all New Blackhawk Tires on the Dump Truck that I used to Drive for Him

Lol well thank you 😈
Goooood afternoon Josh!
Great video 🚛🚛
is gimli where that plane made an emergency landing on old runway full of people some years back ?
Yup it ran out of fuel and had to glide down and landed on an old car race track up there... Gimili Glider
Holy cow that's quite a story for those passengers.
So it’s better to be safe than sorry last reason for this girls to pull you in as you know

I wonder how much they cost here in the USA
Poor Karen tryin to get you to show off your home town.... and you just shut her down 🤣
🤣🤣
Why would the company leave a hole in the lane way like that
Right, spend 20 minutes and fill it with gravel (plenty all around that area ) ?
Yeah, let’s not punch the steer tire into that. I don’t think that would be fun. I I don’t think you were gonna go through the ceiling.
What school in winnipeg did you attend... is it the one in transcona on day st. ??
Springs Christian Academy
Yeah, you might want that orient it across the border. They really don’t like it when you show up with no passport.
