I didn't suggest it provided any advantage. Betting strategies don't effect the house edge at all. Just like adding and removing hands, it can hurt or help, you just don't know which one it will do until you do it.
Thanks! I can't really bring myself to do the bust bet. I think the lowest the house edge goes on it is something like 6% if you play it on an 8 because there is a potential 75:1 payout for triple 8 bust. All of them that pay 1:1 have a house edge in the double digits if I am recalling it correctly. I am going to add in doing the 21+3 next time I get to go play. I'll have those up in early December.
You are correct that it is a slower way to lose. The house always has an edge unless you count cards. If they want more edge they just give you side bets like the bust bonus and 21+3 so you can lose faster.
Yeah, that's why I like pressing a quarter unit. You don't completely lose your wins but you get to take advantage of any win streaks with a little boost from your previous win. Most of the time I just lose the press and my bet though.
@@TheWagerGames The best thing a gambler can do is find the game with the lowest house edge, play perfect basic strategy, and bet table min. This means no 6/5 everyone!!!!!! I truly believe gamblers think pressing bets is a easy way to beat or win at blackjack, well I hate to tell you that it won't work long term what so ever
If you're talking about the one up by the dealer, I think that is what they press to keep any bonus jackpot bets lit up before they pull the chips off the table. Lets them keep track of who had bets out in case they hit since they take the wager before play.
What is your favorite betting strategy? I'm clearly a fan of pressing a quarter unit.
You know this is not any type of advantage and you'll still be a losing player

Sure was nice when the forklift left
That was fun! We liked the bigger bets. That side bet bust bet looks interesting, we have never seen it before. Great video!

Yes always press! The only way to win :)
That's actually factually wrong as over the long run , you'll be a losing player. There are other ways to win but pressing bets is not one of them.
Basic strategy was made by the casino. It's a slower way to lose.

If playing 1 hand is bad.why not mixing up by playing 2 hand.
I'm a fan of pressing 20-50% after each win. Still pressing up but not risking the complete profit from the previous hand.

I clearly don't have a proven "betting strategy" but I've got to feel it lol 😆 #sidebetsforlife
Betting strategies alone will never beat blackjack alone over the course of time
They don't reduce the house edge at all. They really are just preference and tend to diminish the bankroll faster than flat bets.

I notice on blackjack one on one dealer always win! But when it’s 4 against the dealer. Most of the player win.
It comes out that way mostly because there are more chances on the table to beat the dealer hand. But each individual hand still has the same odds.
What’s the red button. That’s new

@@TheWagerGames yeah I just realized they put those bets in
