This whole JP D4S product is nothing but me too products. Nothing innovative about any of it. The so called "Designer" couldn't come up with an orginal idea if it slapped him across his face :)
Not at all. The point of this battery is to easily integrate it into a stock electrical system. If this battery doesn't fit your needs you need to switch to a different chemistry and a different battery. Simple as that.
@JasonWW2000 below 12.8v, you're putting unnecessary strain on the amps internals. Sundown salt, Orion hcca, and dd m series are fine at low voltage, but most amps aren't as overbuilt. And yes, I do use a different chemistry. I run 80ah of lto on my truck off a factory 105amp alt. I don't drop below 15.4v charging at 15.5v with 3kw of power. The only reason I did 80ah over 40ah is that 40ah didn't like repeatedly turning over my diesel motor, such as in the event that I ran out of diesel and needed to reprime. But that's to be expected the truck pulls over 400amps just to turn the starter motor
@@kylevanwinkle2081I’m gonna be doing a build with a 7.3 f250 just built a 60ah scib lto bank yesterday, crazy how easy it was to build the bank lmao can’t believe I almost paid a premium for someone to do it
@kylevanwinkle2081 Just keep in mind that different people have different needs. Not everybody is the same as you. Converting a vehicle to run at a much higher voltage is something that not everyone wants to do. Some vehicles are simply not capable of handling the higher voltage. Also, not all audio equipment can handle a higher voltage. So it's great that we have so many different battery options on the market. 👍
@JasonWW2000 regardless there is no audio gear made to work at 12v all the time the heat will kill them. Whatever amperage that battery can sustain at 13.5v is that batteries real capacity. Hell drop that to 13v if you want but below 13v is hard on power supplies. Idk what formula or load that is being put on this meter to get his numbers but we all know that the lower the voltage the higher the amperage requirement. This means fuses and wire sizes have to increase to handle the increased amperage. That means that the amps have to handle more current and dissipate more heat. Sure this product might work for some but advocating pushing these things to 12v and lower is like advocating to never change your engine oil. Short term there might be no effect but it's going to wear things out and end up in failure
So maybe 8c continuous for 30 seconds down to 12.0... not horrible. 12C sagged it pretty low.
yep... pretty dismal, like most D4S battery stuff... I've seen several up them bust open from swelling lol

To break things down some
Your alt does 99% of the work up to the point you reach its limit (let’s say 100 amps)
THEN and only then will you be drawing power from the battery
So 14v X 100a 1,400watts roughly

That voltage will continue to drop as the capacity depletes

@@LivinLoudwithAndy I had a lot of amps with no problems but this one here is giving me hell I got great grounds and stout electrical I just don’t get it it’s not me and that’s frustrating because I did more research on the company with BBB and they are rated a F
Its super overpriced for liFepo4
This whole JP D4S product is nothing but me too products. Nothing innovative about any of it. The so called "Designer" couldn't come up with an orginal idea if it slapped him across his face :)
Hey just testing it for performance
Didn’t mention price for a reason 👊🏼
All in an unusable voltage range. Anything below 12.8v is too low
These batteries are trash…
Eh just LFP 20Ah 30c cells
Nothing trash about that in particular
@michaelmartinez6660 well you watched a whole video to talk shit about it 😂🎉👏
As it will swell up and the cells spread apart!
Gotta love pouch cells!
