One of the greatest lessons of this movie for me is directed to parents, as a parent you should learn how to forgive and draw your children close, they are not equal and their character and attitude towards life cannot be the same,this movie is so relatable because I’ve been there and I know how this things that parents do affect the overall affairs of their children, but they don’t care because they feel I still have other children. I do tell people we have different coping mechanisms and at any point in life a drastic change can occur in our lives and truth be told it’s one of the pecks of life.Also let’s be kind to people regardless of who they are, where we meet them or whatever the case may be and do not forget that you’re someone’s solution and reason of existence just as in the case of the little girl and Mike, family is not always blood at the end of the day. This is a very beautiful piece and I enjoyed every bit of it. Welldone ma’am 🥰
Very well spoken. It wasn't cliche like many movies out today. This had a strong message. It was a slow burn yet it was purposeful. Havilah would have been long dead without Rachael and Mike, especially Rachael who exuded so much life in the midst of sorrow. I can't imagine how much joy she brought to Havilah at a time when everything pointed towards suicide. The bigger story for me is to NEVER write anyone off. NEVER look down on anyone regardless. They're down today, but you don't know tomorrow. Havilah would never have thought she would fall in love with Mike in his earlier degenerated state. They both faced the shadows of death and destruction, but LOVE conquered it all. Beautiful story. I don't know how you can watch this movie and not smile and get a good feeling. Well done again Detola & Mr Dappa. Please look after that little angel (Rachael) too.

Wow ,this was an amazing movie.I enjoyed the storyline. This life is so unbalanced. Compassion, Perseverance, Love . I was so glad that both of these two broken people found each other. Dera gave them the hope of finding themselves. To the director of this movie, you did a good job in bringing out one problem in this world . Drugs can lead anyone down the path of destruction.
To Say that Dera can act is an understatement. She is already a force of nature at such a young age. We are watching a future Academy award winner. Amazing Nollywood producers like Omoni Oboli need to continue plugging away at these phenomenal scripts and an Oscar will go to the best International feature film. I believe this has to soon come with every fiber of my being. Nollywood is so good that the Academy decided to allow films in Pidgin English to open the door for more Nigerian entries so the key is to figure out viable strategies how to get film released in a Los Angeles theater for at least 7 consecutive days in a calendar year.
I do not think I have watched such an amazing pure story line! This was beautiful to watch from the beginning, kept me intrigued from start to finish! This was excellent! I really wished for more, beautifully executed

This my best movie of so far this year. Addiction the core issue the young people of nowadays and even some older people goes through everyday. It a terrible thing to go through expecially when you recognise it an issuse and you are trying to go out of it. I have gone through addiction for the pass years and still go through it today although am now getting control over it. I pray for all the people going through such stuff out there, Hopefully it going to be okay. I wash this with tears hoping such people find peace and freedom from such a terrible thing called addiction
OK. This is different, good different, so good!!! I enjoyed the evolution of your characters - emotional growth, and mental growth. I like the sassy Rachel character so much, she was the glue to the story. Mr. Dappy and Ms. Jones also outdid themselves; I can see Mr. Dappy doing more nuanced characters in the future. This story also brought to light another aspect of addiction and grief and centred the sufferers. Wonderfully hopeful, appropriately realistic and well executed. Kudos to the writers and production team.
Love love this movie, will definitely watch it again and again. Three people who needed each other in a not so different way which ultimately was love came together and made their own kind of family with a lot of love dispite their flows. Mistakes are bound to happen in one way or the other, how you handle each other there after matters to the healing processes of both parties. This movie was intriguing to watch ❤

Kenneth, according to him has already forgiven his father, he just chose to keep him at arms length and I personally don't see anything wrong in his decision 🤷♀️ He tried his best trying to get his forgiveness and acceptance times without number, but he joined forces with his wife and kept pushing him away and making his addiction problem worse. That guy would've died trying to get his family's attention, if not for Havilah and the little girl. So, not needing them in his life anymore is just fine!

Am married my husband Nov/20/2020 but now leave at my parents home after we couldn't rent a house,afford meals, electricity e.t.c .the last month I was in our home I used papers and old clothes as pads cos we had no money, tried to search for jobs but failed even tried to start up some income generating business but failed.Why? This man was an addict (gambling/sport betting) he betted everything and anything by selling most of my priced possession curtains,fans,waist watch, blender,teddy bears,flasks,padlocks, microwave,my smart phone etc it reached a time that I feared even going to the toilet with him around knowing he would stael something .this movie reaches deep for me .
You are stronger than you think. Please, teach yourself to be calm. Find a good strategy to manage your connection to him. Stay focused on your source of strength. Never, ever give up or give in. Those two options would render all your effort of many years and lost valuables useless. Keep going, one day at a time. It will get better. I promise.
So sorry you have to go through this but if you have kids with him the please focus on the kids and yourself okay. Marriage is good but when you end up I a bad one, it's almost like a curse. They all stood by each through thick and thin. If you didn't feel the pain, the ago native he went through being accused of killing his sister, the low self-esteem that were constantly spoken over his life from his father, step-mother, and the brother trying to take his girlfriend because he had more to offer. The little girl refused to give up on her, literally trying to take her life. So this movie had another title that I would give "Destiny Found Each Other". The way Racheal was always there when he had a episode then the way they helped each other heal and raise up - this girl is so good at acting, glad Racheal became their reason to be hopeful. The brother is trying to worsen his insecurities but ignoring him would do them better- glad she stood up for him and the step brother too, there comes a time that one has to set boundaries to get that peace that they need to heal and nlt even family can rob you of that beautiful story

This my best movie of so far this year. Addiction the core issue the young people of nowadays and even some older people goes through everyday. It a terrible thing to go through expecially when you recognise it an issuse and you are trying to go out of it. I have gone through addiction for the pass years and still go through it today although am now getting control over it. I pray for all the people going through such stuff out there, Hopefully it going to be okay. I wash this with tears hoping such people find peace and freedom from such a terrible thing called addiction

OK. This is different, good different, so good!!! I enjoyed the evolution of your characters - emotional growth, and mental growth. I like the sassy Rachel character so much, she was the glue to the story. Mr. Dappy and Ms. Jones also outdid themselves; I can see Mr. Dappy doing more nuanced characters in the future. This story also brought to light another aspect of addiction and grief and centred the sufferers. Wonderfully hopeful, appropriately realistic and well executed. Kudos to the writers and production team.

Love love this movie, will definitely watch it again and again. Three people who needed each other in a not so different way which ultimately was love came together and made their own kind of family with a lot of love dispite their flows. Mistakes are bound to happen in one way or the other, how you handle each other there after matters to the healing processes of both parties. This movie was intriguing to watch ❤

Kenneth, according to him has already forgiven his father, he just chose to keep him at arms length and I personally don't see anything wrong in his decision 🤷♀️
He tried his best trying to get his forgiveness and acceptance times without number, but he joined forces with his wife and kept pushing him away and making his addiction problem worse.
That guy would've died trying to get his family's attention, if not for Havilah and the little girl. So, not needing them in his life anymore is just fine!

This man was an addict (gambling/sport betting) he betted everything and anything by selling most of my priced possession curtains,fans,waist watch, blender,teddy bears,flasks,padlocks, microwave,my smart phone etc it reached a time that I feared even going to the toilet with him around knowing he would stael something .this movie reaches deep for me .

Stay focused on your source of strength.
Never, ever give up or give in. Those two options would render all your effort of many years and lost valuables useless.

They all stood by each through thick and thin. If you didn't feel the pain, the ago native he went through being accused of killing his sister, the low self-esteem that were constantly spoken over his life from his father, step-mother, and the brother trying to take his girlfriend because he had more to offer. The little girl refused to give up on her, literally trying to take her life. So this movie had another title that I would give "Destiny Found Each Other". Of course, this movie did have a lot of FRAGMENTS. Kudos, goes out to the 3 stars who should be presented, The Academy Awards. 👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Oh, I cried through the entire movie 😭
