Doing the walk is actually kinda hard since if you pivot from walking to blocking too slowly, you just take the kiblast hit + assists always hit you during the walk unless they are kiblast assists
Yeah, lets just ignore the eraser blow, assist, super dash, tag in, teleport, Lv. 1 super or a lariat and hope that all the stars and the heavens connect that will allow the walk from UI Goku go uninterrupted. In short, it's a fucking gimmick.
Another tip for cross ups, if you hold the forward input you’re character will autocorrect faster, so characters like Basically all the gokus, Nappa, Hit’s jL, vegeta, adult Gohan, so on and so forth that don’t need to time their crossup button too much can do it a little faster. So hold the forward input from the dash forward, and you’ll turn around a bit faster.
BbandzBrandon - you hold the same direction you do your dash in for the IAD, so if you do an IAD to the left side of the screen, hold left, if you do it to the right, hold right.
Tyler Armstrong yea its only a small change, but basically the game sees the input as you’re moving, which it then says “oh shit he’s changed sides, update the controls” and turns you around as a result. So it also makes doing specials on crossup easier to an extent too.
This is really good to listen to whilst in the lab, I've just been trying to find a main team because I can't stick with a team for longer than a week.
Lolll the first team I picked was just a bit at random, characters I liked that were high up on the tier list. Tohan, GT, Yamcha. I changed teams every couple of days for months. The team I ended up settling on? Tohan, GT, Yamcha. Idk why but after playing around with every other character, that original team just felt like home ^_^
Rath is so great how he breaks things down. Something important to take away from this video is patience. People often want to follow up on a chance to capitalize on an advantage, and it’s hard to pull away and realize you lost your advantage. For instance with teching, even tho u got the knock down having the will power to let them get away if u fail to stop their tech is often better than chasing them and end up getting baited when they superdash or land on u with an attack or wake up mash. U just gotta learn to let it go.
Or if you do an assist and try to run up and start pressure, they may be jumping over you and superdash ing if you’re too late. If you are patient and don’t run up if u know ur too late, u won’t get baited and u might be able to 2h
Whats more scarier about Z Broly Ki blast was actually the AFTERMATH of that Ki Blast assault. The worst thing it was that he could cancel the ki blast into ANY SPECIAL/SUPER. Even after you vanish and a lot of Z Broly anticipated the punishment 5H? 236L or 236L will punish it accordingly. Jumping was also a high risk because an IAD>214H is an armor FULLSCREEN AIR COMMAND GRAB that even caught Super Jump. I was always afraid to deal with it. It was an INSANE struggle and dilemma.
Play him kind of like a zoner. Change up where you throw your ki blasts. Sometimes jump in, too. He has and armor 2M, 5M, 5H, 2H and an armor lariat. So it's easy to frame trap or punish approaches. He's a grappler so don't be afraid to pressure, either.
He doesn't broly's ki blast are huge go through other ki blasts and can be angled. 236s his beam property move moves him forward fast recovery armour that also beats dp. Frieza's ki blast isn't as good his disks can hit him and its startup and recovery isn't great. His death slash doesn't really help him touch its just a worse change the future
So on cross ups, I see some ppl who microdash after they hit the cross up jM, but I can never get the microdash into the combo to work because they recover on time, any tips?
Make sure you're delaying the j.M as much as possible before landing, and make sure you buffer the microdash BEFORE you land from the crossup, if you're still inputting the dash when you've landed it's usually too late. Also, consider just using a medium button to confirm instead of 5L depending on your character so that you don't have to microdash. If you know your character's 5H rejump, 5M-2M-5H can be about as good of a confirm or better than microdash 5LL.
@@NovaZayn No problem, man. By the way, if your opponent has fast reflexes and a good guard, I recommend spacing farther out and using j.L to cross up, this makes it harder to react to the cross and easier to pull off a same side mix. This works EXTREMELY well with characters like Frieza and Zamasu.
First of all, as alaways, such great content keep it up dude. Here is my question. How ca I consistently IAD the fastest way possible? Having trouble on ps4 controller
Nah they're not. You gotta call out when he's gonna ki blast you. You need to super dash them. 0:44 oh... Well there you go mang. Lmfao gg. You're good you already know bro
It is easy. Just get good at reading and anticipating your opponents options. People jump in a certain way to get a good angles and people have habits. @@agl4044 it really is just that easy. You force situations. Make them wanna ki blast zone you. Or even 236S spam. With barrier on. Who cares? Vanish into assist. He vanishes. Reflect. L L or 2M depends who you are. Idk what's so hard bruh. Stop being a little bitch and just do it.
@@davidzrescalante503 when you go and do that against the likes of hook and knowkami you can go and call people bitches 😂 you're talking about it like all you play are scrubs maybe if you play or watch high lvl you'd realise it's not that simple to simply dictate the game against a good broly especially when his tools are most likely better for controlling the screen. You can easily get conditioned into super dashing and get punished every time. It's not that simple
@@xXKillaBGXx Thanks. Sounds more like a Broly nerf, since it was already beating all other proj. ki blasts if I'm not mistaken. Does this mean that it is actually the #1 projectile ki blast now?
edgartheslayer3 you have the wrong impression. It was a buff to Nappa because although his ki blast beats others, the time it took to startup would see most other ki blasts hitting him even at full screen. The armour he gets is to give him a fighting chance. Broly’s ki blast still beats Nappa’s ki blast. On start up however, during that step forward animation Nappa does with ki energy surrounding him, he himself is ki projectile invulnerable so he “beats” others during that time. If you rewatch the video, you might notice the two ki blasts never actually clash, broly is hitting Nappa during startup armour
The best way to get in on Z broly is to ask him politely.

No. Holding forward (6) has no effect whatsoever on IAD's. You may be thinking of holding 69 (up + forward) after a super jump IAD.
