I think I played this game on medium mode, and I did get beat by some characters, including getting beat enough to where I'm asked if I want to continue.
How did you fight against Dan? I always try, but I haven't success... The hit combo number counts on it? I've already fight against Akuma, but Dan... :(
(late response) To fight Dan, you need to have the same win qoute from battle 1 to battle 4. You can choose your win quote by pressing buttons. (like PPP or KKK)
