Do you collect the bottles or chuck them after the fact? Every time I get some cool jug of Vodka or something I keep the bottle and leave it on my shelf. The boxes look interesting too, worth collecting if you rally like the stuff.
There are a few I’ll keep if they sentimental value otherwise I chuck them as I don’t have the space to keep them sadly. Plus my wife would chuck them if I didn’t 😂
Are there any you'd highly recommend? Something different, a bit special, it'd not be for me I have not taste, it'd be a present for someone, I don't want the usual Teachers, J.D. or Bell's as nice as they are, as no real effort's been made other than walking to the off-licence with £20.
Do they drink much whisky at the moment? Do you know some of the ones they like? What price range are you wanting to work in? Otherwise if you want something different but really nice that is actually surprisingly cheap go for Black Bottle. It’s a blended whisky but my father in law who comes from Islay the island of whisky prefers this one!
@@bundjohn They like Jack Daniels of those mentioned but buy it mainly cause it's easily attainable. Under £40, not sure any piss is worth much more unless it's for on your way out, and even then I think I'd be doing in Bailey's and Absinthe, but that's me. I'll bring up Black Bottle in passing and see what reaction it gets.
I'm a big fan of this one! Talisker Skye is perfect for a cold, icy, no sun in the sky, winters day!
Having just got to Scotland it feels like a winters day 😂
Seen this but not tried it nice one John
If you find it for the right price it’s worth trying!
I've no idea about the whiskey as I don't drink but Talisker is a beautiful place, I go most years, it's an idyllic spot on Skye👌👍
I haven’t had the pleasure of going there yet but would love to!

@@9ElevenGamer definitely go for Black Bottle but Jack Daniel’s is a bourbon so it’s going to be sweeter than Scotch FYI.
