Very interesting Vaughan thank you. I have got John Britt’s book Mid-Range Glazes and thought that I would try to make a glaze for the first time - Folk Art Guild white, Floating Blue and the Temmoku gold looks incredible on your bowls 😊
Thank you Vaughn! Your generosity sharing your knowledge is greatly appreciated. I've watched the videos where you share firing schedules, but am unclear what firing schedule you've settled on for tenmoku gold.
Beautiful! Love Ten Moku glaze - thank you for showing us all 3.
Should have listened to your whole video. You answered my questions. Thank you so much.
It's so awesome to see your subscriber numbers! I started watching when you were at 350.
Thanks, ad free too.
Thank you so much. I have Randy’s Red. Will try it in the middle of a firing. Did you do a full cone 6?
I fire RR to cone 6 1/2
Is Randy’s red a commercial glaze or one you have the recipe for? Being here in Arkansas, everyone is red crazy.
The recipe is in the Randy's Red video. If you email me I can send you a photo from my glaze book.
In several of your wonderful videos you have mentioned you use a non leeching liner glaze. Could you share your recipe for this glaze?

Ten Moku gold just needs to be cooled slowly from 2000F to 1750F, fired to 2220F first.
@@Vsmithpots Wonderful. Thank you!
Forgot to ask. Do you do a cone firing? I use a ramp and hold program so I can do a slow cool and my firings are cone 5.5.
That is what I do too
