Thank you for answering my question yesterday about how old the kitties are and when they came to live with you and Mom. It is so sweet and it makes perfect sense that Todd “adopted you”. He is a smart insightful kitty who knows what he wants and he knew, even as a kitten, all those years ago that he wanted you. It was love at first site. ❤️
Todd is smart, wanting to play with Strng Thing on the hardwood floor, then asking to be settled into his basket, because his leg hurts and jumping around would feel painful. Clever boy! I love how Glamour slyly gets some attention [without pets] from Dad, walking on his work, lol. Dad is used to this, Cats being better doors than windows, obviously! I adore how she chats and meeps, and seems content that Dad understands what she's expressing.
I love the Christmas tree. Are there special ornament for the cats on it? Glamour is the house dive and a chatty catty.Todd knows what he wants and not shy about asking. So cute. ❤❤😻❤❤
I like how those baskets encourage them to stay put on your desk instead of walking in your way while you're trying to work. Though it wasn't working with Glamour in this video.
now Todd has his own basket! we put towels for padding so it is more comfortable for our cats. ours love boxes that they just fit in too. love the cats christmas tree. pet the kitties foe me!
They really don't bother it much but know that it is theirs, and they can do with it what they want. That may take the fun out of it knowing it's okay to mess with it. Lol
My goodness! Glamour seems very interested with that little Christmas tree. She goes and stares at it as Todd has a real conversation with you. I just love Glamour! I hope you are still considering a channel for her. I can't believe how much I 💜 her!
Todd uses his new buttons now to understand what they mean. Basket can mean beig put in one or sth. that can be onserved with a basket. Galmour Basket means a different thing than "basket" on its own ;-) Smarty pantaloons, he is ;-)
He's a good boy. I was thinking about Todd's Button Elbow. Have you looked into cosequin for cats? It's supposed to be good for joints and kidneys. Joints are its main purpose, kidneys are a side effect.
Todd is pressing quite hard with the whole of his arm, is it possible to make the buttons easier? Perhaps speak to the manufacturer bcos they need this feedback from Todd & Dad❤ Is that Glamour I heard speaking off camera?❤
How long did it take Todd to learn to use his first few buttons? I would love to one day be able to hold even short conversations with one of my cats, but we have started with 3 buttons several weeks ago. The words are all words for their favorite treats so they should be very motivated, but despite practicing several times each day (about 10 minutes each time), none of them seem to have picked up on it. I can't tell if this is normal because I have no reference point. They all seem very interested to engage in "button time". They follow me right over and are quite attentive for the entire period. They even linger over the buttons after I tell them "all done" and walk away. I have also seen each of them exploring around the button area. But so far the best I can get is for them to sniff at the particular button each favors in what may or may not be a purposeful way. I can't seem to help them understand they need to actually press on the buttons, even though I reward them for any contact with the appropriate buttons, including the few times they have accidently stepped on a button, and I have helped the two who are comfortable with me lifting their feet to actually press the buttons with an immediate reward. Should I keep trying or should I just admit that none of them will ever be a "Todd"?
I have seen other people comment that it took 1-3 months for their cat to push the buttons! You may want to look into the research a little. I remember Billi's mom working on "targeting" as a distinct skill, starting with high five and progressing to an actual button. It's easy for us to make that connection of thought to specific action, but harder for cats.
They recommend you do not use a button for treats because it will distract from their learning. There’s also videos available by fluent pet that will help you step-by-step. I believe the free 30 minute video might explain for you. The link to the fluid pet website should be in the description area of this video. On the website, you will find the tutorial option.
If they have not started using them, you may want to switch to a favorite toy. Starting with food can make it harder in the long run, as the board will become nothing more than a vending machine. Todd is special; he understood what the board and buttons were right away, and once I showed him the one that was his favorite toy, he started using the board 10 minutes after setting it up. You can see this in the very first video on the channel. I think it's called Todd's First Button Push.
Good job, Todd! I would be interesting to see a video about buttons Todd has pushed that didn't make any sense and try to figure them out. I assume he does that from time to time??
Dear Sir- Might you be capable of designing new “buttons” so Todd and future cats don’t hurt their paws after repeated use? Surely there could be a better way!
The buttons do not need to be fixed or redesigned. They are designed so a kitten a few months old can use them. If Todd bats his Jingle Ball or toy mouse and it rolls across a button, it will most often activate it. The problem is the way Todd does it. Most cats will walk up and stand on the button, pushing straight down. Todd likes to walk up to his board, stretch, and push down while his arm is extended out.
Glamour and Todd moral supporting dad when working. Good kitties
I love the way Todd waits patiently by the buttons until he gets an answer from Dad. ❤
We love Todd, he is so clever and he brightens up our days ❤
Sorry to repeat myself , but Todd is one clever sausage . 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Our smart sweet boy ❤😻
Love the way Todd settled right down in his basket when you put him in it. He is such a good communicator! And the kitty Christmas tree is so cute!!
Sweet little basket boy!!🎉❤😂

Todd using his new words good to see
Thank you.
I wonder if that's a reaction to Dad being home but staying downstairs more, to save Todd's button paw syndrome.
Amazing xx
I love the Christmas tree. Are there special ornament for the cats on it? Glamour is the house dive and a chatty catty.Todd knows what he wants and not shy about asking. So cute. ❤❤😻❤❤
All the ornaments are shatterproof for the kitties, and I don't turn the lights on in case they try and chew it.
Excellent episode! 🥰💖👍

If they are not there they will lay on my papers, lol

"Todd Lovecake, Yes?"❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
now Todd has his own basket! we put towels for padding so it is more comfortable for our cats.
ours love boxes that they just fit in too. love the cats christmas tree. pet the kitties foe me!
Todd and Glamour do not like anything in their baskets, I have tried.
How is that tree still standing?!😂 you have the BEST cats!
They really don't bother it much but know that it is theirs, and they can do with it what they want. That may take the fun out of it knowing it's okay to mess with it. Lol
what a cutie patootie !!!!
Hi Dad and Todd and kitties. Todd is just amazing. So smart. Todd loves the extra attention. So sweet.
He needs to be more ambidextrous with his paws and buttons so he can rest his tennis elbow. He's just adorable and so smart.
My goodness! Glamour seems very interested with that little Christmas tree. She goes and stares at it as Todd has a real conversation with you. I just love Glamour! I hope you are still considering a channel for her. I can't believe how much I 💜 her!
Todd is just so good with his words ♥
Todd the smort chonker is so cute.
The suspense of not knowing whether Todd's new word used today would be "inside, outside or basket," was tough! Fortunately, we found out quickly. 😂
I don’t know how long your Christmas tree has been up, but it would surely be down 10 times by now in my house
👍👍👍
Sure Todd is getting more clever.
lol I assumed Glamour was looking for trouble , but I was wrong
Todd isn't sure if Basket is what he wanted.
Todd uses his new buttons now to understand what they mean. Basket can mean beig put in one or sth. that can be onserved with a basket. Galmour Basket means a different thing than "basket" on its own ;-) Smarty pantaloons, he is ;-)
Is Todd a basket case today? 😹
Todd will get smarter the receptors in his brain will grow so Will his brain power with New neurons.
Todd needs bigger basket. Todd needs basket that fits him. Todd needs comfy blankets or cushions for bigger basket.
Todd happy.
Todd and Glamour have bigger baskets available, but they like these baskets. They do not like fabric in their baskets, they like them empty.
He's a good boy.
I was thinking about Todd's Button Elbow. Have you looked into cosequin for cats? It's supposed to be good for joints and kidneys. Joints are its main purpose, kidneys are a side effect.
What if cats secretly have the intelligence of humans but can only meow and purr?
I think Todd is "left-handed" or a South paw!
He is.

There are very few times when I don't understand what Todd is saying. Todd is very deliberate about what he pushes.
those baskets are perfect cat loaf size. where did you find them?
