pulln100 I’m so sorry! I never saw this. To be honest, I believe they sought him out for the part, but I would need to ask to clarify!

the only issue I had with the farina episodes were why did they never state the year the case (events) would take place (only time of day)?
for example the murder/ extortion story began in november 1985 and then in 1990 the family were contacted again but no one would know this unless they watched the stack episodes... was it laziness or did the makers just not feel it was important to do this with the newer farina versions of the show?

The Jean Moore disappearance took place in April of 1992. From what I can find online, it is still unsolved. Al Henderson died in 2001, and if the source I checked was right, he was 70 at that time, and Jean was 59. I have to say that I am iffy on his guilt or innocence. It does stand out to me that the camera footage doesn't match up with his account of what happened. If I were on a jury, though, I'd still not feel comfortable voting "guilty" on his behalf.

One of two things happen to Jeanne either she and al got into an arguement and he accidentally killed her and his sister is trying to cover for him by saying she talked to her on the phone or someone in the casino was able to kidnap her from inside and was able to get her outside without being seen on any of the cctv

One really has to k ow the casino to pull that off...as in ot being caught on the CCTV.

It's pretty tough doing something in the casino and parking lot and it is not captured on camera. He lied to investigators and changed his story a couple of times.

I Was always intrigued by the Jeanne Moore case; they are cutting many scenes here though for the original broadcast and I notice they do this in alot of segments compared to the original Robert Stack broadcasts. AL seems very genuine and UNGUILTY to me. It is a fact she had a run of luck on the poker machines Wed eve., the night before she disappeared. Someone was probably watching her, lured her away from cameras and stole her money and killed her and drove her body somewhere. Al H. was a millionaire, Jeanne was not, so WHY kill her? He already had millions on his own, before meeting her. I believe he is telling the truth. I mean, I am sure he knew there were cameras all over, so I don't think he would have done anything in that location if he wanted to. I think some stranger robbed her and
was clever enough to do it unseen. What a shame, she was a pretty lady. Kim

I don't believe he is innocent. He lied about her favorite slot machine, and he changed his story a couple of times.

Fortunately, the extortionist never carried out his threats against DJ and Tammy. However, he was never identified, nor was the gunman that killed Roger. Investigators no longer believe that the extortionist and the killer were the same person, as he got several of the facts wrong when contacting the Deans.
Investigators have noted that they have several suspects, including the son of Roger's secretary, whom he allegedly had an affair with prior to his murder. The man matched the description of the killer and was angry with Roger over the affair. Police stated that they have not ruled him or his mother out as suspects.
Another theory police have investigated is the possibility that the killer knew about Roger's embezzlement from his company and planned to blackmail him.
Investigators also noted that there are at least six suspects in the case that they have yet to collect DNA samples from. These suspects have refused to have their DNA collected.

That's a new one. I can't tell you while CCTV doesn't show me where I said I was, I'm not an expert on cameras. I can only stick by my story. Who are you going to believe? Me or the security video?

Why does Farina never give us the dates of when these stories occurred? Stack always did.

William Earnhardt, It's because the stories were usually rather recent when Stack hosted. Most of the stories were like 10-20 years old when Farina hosted. If Farina gave dates, it would make his episodes seem outdated. Farina's method of presentation makes the stories seem recent and gives the show a fresh look.

all the stories are repeats from the Robert Stack era... the producers are just lazy..... anyone who is a long time fan of the show would reconize the stories as repeats.

more like the producers were lazy since the stories are repeats from the Robert Stack era any long time fan of the show would notice that. I know I did. I'm a long time fan of the show since it begain in 1987,

I usually enjoy this show, but the all the woo-woo psychic flummery stories piss me off. I realize they’re popular, and that critical thinking isn’t, but why let obvious frauds and hucksters use this program to promote their duplicity?

I think Al knows more than the lies he was spewing. I don't know if he killed her or not. But if he didn't have anything to do with her disappearance, why tell lies after lies. I don't know if they got an argument and things went to far. Is it any update on this case?
