Nice presentation, i was wanting to know why you don’t use hide glue. I know it is a personal preference but historically thats what was used. Some modern luthiers use it and some don’t.
Thank you! I'm definitely interested in trying hide glue. The downside is that it has very short setting time, so you have to be quick to get everything in place. Not something you need to worry about with modern glue
@@redbeardlutherie1173 Look into fish glue as well. I have heard some discount it, but I have found it to be great for those jobs requiring a longer open time, such as gluing on the back etc.
