    Twenty-six years ago, I was driving my daughter home from school ( she was in 1st grade), when I suddenly felt myself being hugged tight around the shoulders. I could not see anyone, but instinctively knew this was my grandmother who lived in Michigan ( we were living in the South). I realized at that moment something had happened...within minutes of arriving home, the phone rang and my mom told me she had bad news. However, I told her I already knew that grandma had just died. To this day, that hug was the most precious moment of my entire life! Grandma and I were very close, and she managed to find me as she was leaving this world. Looking forward to seeing her in heaven one day 🙏 BTW, her husband, my grandfather, was one of the first writers for My Daily Bread leaflets, and was also a broadcaster for their radio program in the 30's and 40's ( he was a pastor).

    I lost two totally blind friends over the years. Both had amazing NDEs following heart attacks. One was able to describe accurately everything in the hospital room and the people when he was stricken. My best friend of 33 years had a heart attack in her home, and was soon resuscitated. After a week of being on a respirator, I asked her how was it? She described it was so peaceful and serene, with her vision, in a green meadow she never felt as good while she was alive. In an instant, her late mother and brother came to get her through a tunnel of light, then she was told not in words but in thought, she would return to be reunited with them. By the way, in the first experience, my friend, after going through a tunnel with light, he was reunited with not only his late mother but his dogs who had all passed on decades earlier. They were waiting for him! His mom told him that he had some unfinished business to do, and they would look forward to greeting him home soon. The docs were amazed that a totally blind man could accurately describe everything not only what was in the room, including their clothing, shoes and equipment, but what they said, and done to revive him. Both related that they no longer feared their own death, and they looked forward to rejoining those they loved throughout their lives. Bottom line: There is nothing to fear and what awaits us all is nothing bur pure love and joy. We cannot fully appreciate what is yet to come without experiencing challenging and hard times here. The Good Guys win!

    I'm a Nurse who have worked in busy ER. Now a hospice Nurse. Oh, the stories that I could tell of what I have witnessed. Through these experiences, it has only strengthened my faith in Jesus as the Christ, there is a loving God and He gives us eternal life through His precious Son. There is something and someone's wonderful beyond what we can see. On the contrary, there is something sinister and frightening on the other side for eternity. I know that I want the wonderful experience with Jesus Christ for eternity.

      Thank you for being a hospice nurse. It is a very special person who can do that kind of nursing. When my mother was terminally ill, hospice came in. All but one nurse were excellent. The organization was also wonderful. The monthly newsletter, that I received for one year after she passed, was a tremendous resource. It explained this is the 4th month and you might be experiencing grief like this or this. I had lost my father 5 weeks before my mother and really didn't have time to grieve for him because my mother was ill. I was the main caretaker. I actually bought books on grieving and I also took out library books. Losing a grandparent is sad, but losing two parents hit home. I didn't know what to expect. Reading about grief let me know I was, "normal."

      @lorraineboyd8338 I appreciate you, also.
      We're never ready to say, "so long. Until we meet again," to our parent's. After all, they were our first loves and our constant loves for most of our lifetimes. If we're blessed with long lives. I've been asked by the patient's family member, " Will this grief get better?" My answer is no. The grief is still there. The absence of a loved one still remains. But, our minds are amazing and will help us cope with the grief as time goes by.
      Also, it may sound cliché, in my opinion, still holds true; as long as you can hold them in your heart, a part of them is still with you. And you're never alone as long as you keep that love alive in you heart, until you meet again.
      May God bless You and give you His comfort and peace. 🌹

      I’m not sure what you’re referring too, for the parts you don’t believe? So you believe some of it but not all of it? Although I have felt the same way about what people claim to believe in Universalism & Cult counterfeit religions, there’s always some truth in it, but how they interpret it is false. And the most dangerous ones, or on about most any topic, is like a good counterfeit $20 bill, because whatever comes the closest to the truth, is the most difficult to detect. And especially for people who are not well-informed about what & why they believe what they do.

    I had a near death experience once, when I was twenty. I was still living with my parents. My left arm began to hurt in the middle of the night, and the pain became progressively worse, until I thought I wouldn’t be able to stand it. My father heard me and came into my room, and Mother followed. They took me to the nearest hospital. While being examined, I discovered I was unable to breathe! I too floated up and was watching the dr and his assistants, as they sat me up and cried Breathe! Breathe! I couldn’t. So I turned and left. I entered a tunnel with darkness in it. I started calling out to God, saying, God, I don’t want to die before I can live a life for You! Please let me live! I turned around and started going back to the hospital. When I landed in my body, I began breathing. I knew I would live. The dr laid me back down on the gurney and everyone left. While they were gone I found my parents and told them it was time to go.

    Great interview, gentlemen! In 2020, I had an episode of internal bleeding and I knew I had to go to the ER. I don't like being the patient. I told the EMT that I don't make a good patient. He said I was doing fine. I said I know I am nice, but I don't like being the patient. Sure enough. Within minutes of being brought into the ER, I flatlined. I guess it was just for seconds, but I felt like it was minutes. I had a NDE. The area where I entered was peaceful and calm. It was mostly dark, with some light. There were about 6 people in a semicircle there to greet me. They were wearing brown monk robes. I could only see them from the neck down. The nurse was giving me CPR and I never felt a thing. She was calling my name and finally I came to. She said I looked angelic. Then, she says, I don't think I broke any ribs. She didn't. It was bad enough I was in for the bleeding issue. The last few months have been difficult for me. I get anxious thinking about what is to come to America. In listening to pastors and the rabbi talk about the end times, I know that God has me in the palm of His hand. The anxiety left and a peacefulness surrounded me. Then, I remembered this NDE. God showed me that so I would know I am going to get through the end times. I thank God for RUclips and other social media platforms so that I can learn from those who know more than I do about the Bible. May God continue to protect and bless both of you and your families.

    I lost my father to dementia on August 20th 2022, almost a year ago today. He was several months shy of his 100th birthday. He died in my arms at hospital. I was his full-time carer for 12 years. I had lived with him all my life. During his life, I never heard my father speak of anything spiritual, no mention of Heaven, not until his final days. During the last four days of his month-long stay at hospital, I stayed with him in his room 24/7, never leaving his side. I kept a journal, detailing his final hours. Here are my notes from that journal which I used for my eulogy at his funeral:
    His voice is veiled as he asks me to help him to stand up, he wants to go home.
    "Help me stand up" he says, "I want to go home. My mother will be wondering where I am!"
    Even if I could help him to stand up, he is so physically weak and depleted now, that I think we both would fall.
    Late yesterday afternoon, when I was about to leave him for the day, I asked him if he minded that I should go, assuring him as I do every day that I will see him again in the morning.
    "If I am here ..." he replies.
    "Where else would you be?" I ask him.
    "In Heaven!"
    How his broken voice it breaks me and so, I arrange with hospital staff for me to stay with him the night. Several hours earlier he had told me that there were people gathering about us in his room. Looking to either side of me, firstly over my left shoulder and then to my right, they who were there not for me but only him were dressed in white.
    "Do you recognize any of them?" I ask him.
    He raises a boney finger and replies: "Just one!"
    I ask him who the person is that he recognises and he tells me that it is himself.
    "What age are you?" I ask him.
    "I am 15!"
    At the time of writing this, I have been by his side a full thirty-four and a half hours.
    Inasmuch does his mind meander, I am never not so knowing of what he means.
    "Lift me up, I want to go home!" he says over and over: "I want to go home!"
    Holding his hand, I tell him that although I cannot lift him up physically, I can at least lift him up toward Spirit, and I place my other hand at where his heart is and say to him: "Home is where your heart is! If you live within the home that is your heart, you will always have Love; you will always know Love: God's Love!"
    "I want to go home!"
    Massaging his chest gently in a clockwise rotation, because the motion of Life is always forward even after Death, yet without actually lifting my hand from his ever weakening heart, I lean forward and whisper into his ear that he can go.
    "Go home! You do not have to stay, just know that I love you!"
    "And I love you!"
    He is even weaker now but not yet gone, and I do not think that I have ever known of a moment so innocent as this, the lingering of a Life as do the Guardians of Love they prepare His way.
    His doctor visits with me. She is concerned for me that I have stayed the night, telling me I need to look after myself.
    Squeezing his hand a little tighter in mine I look at her and say: "I Am"
    Another day passes during whose time he is bathed twice in his bed, first in the morning and then again at night: Bed Bath Lite. The ritual of cleansing a rite of passage now, water, glycerin, gels and fragrant oils, they do not soil the sheets but soothe his skin, tissue-paper thin.
    He breathes in and breathes out ever more purposefully on the exhale, and I copy the sequence of sighs sorrowfully, that none too cold each pant becomes, nothing so irregular, not just yet. I would bet myself he would live another year but for my fear the end is near we both do know it, and I think to myself how stealthily the dusk does creep before the breaking of each new dawn a waking day, how we live to die and die to live reborn.
    With his cheek resting softly upon the pillow I lay my head at his side. He places his hand on my head and touches my hair. and I want more than anything for him to keep it there.
    As his breathing becomes more shallow I chant: "Everything I am is of you; all my love is yours!" "Everything I am is of you; all my love is yours!" but then to add: "If you take my heart with you when you go, my love will be with you and forever more, because of the love I give to you are you a part, two soles, one heart!"
    I dim the light to dull the play of shadows upon his features that I see only myself in him now.
    And then, at the eleventh hour of my stay this day he takes his last breath and quietly slips away, into the silent land where there is only Love and Time it has no borders, bound not by night neither lit by day, only Love! Love has sped him away!
    (Leslie James Wilcher 16.01.1923 - 20.08.2022)

My mother finally told me she didn't want to leave the three of us--her children and her 6 grandchildren. But she was excited to be reunited with two people in heaven.

As I have had more experiences in life, I no longer have a shy bone in my body. What I have noticed is there is such a difference between sympathy and empathy. But other than knowing the definitions of the words, you don't experience the feeling until you experience a loss or a certain situation. I know when to listen and when to speak. I know exactly what to say. Whereas when I was younger, I would be nervously thinking of something to say. The person speaking wasn't getting my full attention. And then 5 minutes after saying good-bye, I would think of something and I would say, you should have said that or you could have said this. To me this is a positive thing about aging! LOL!

      @@Magazinelady Oh, that is such a young age to lose both parents, and in such close succession. I have always said that eventually we become orphans and there you have experienced. I'm so sorry. I can relate to the feeling of your mother's presence (prayer-sense?) close to you but that with the passing of years since, it has become less. My own feeling this past years was that my father's transitioning eclipsed my mother's passing, but the feeling of losing dad is still keen for me. He had become my son. Perhaps it is more a case of acceptance that those feelings we go through feel like they have disappeared after all, and like you, there's not a day that passes when I do not think of my parents. Yes, the volunteer work has its own reward as is Love its own reward. I mostly do it in memory of dad and to give something back to the hospital for the care they showed both dad and me during his final weeks of life. A near-death experience proves you need assurance of your salvation and be thankful that you now have that opportunity!
    What you need to know. [ABOUT SALVATION: I Cor. 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren (fellow Christians), I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand: By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached to you, unless you have believed in vain (don't really care). For I delivered to you first of all that which I received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace (from God) are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Rom. 10:9-13 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. For scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between Jew and the Greek (Gentiles): for the same Lord over all is rich to all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Joh. 3:16 For God so loved the world (us), that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believes in him should not perish (in hell), but have everlasting life (with God). Joh. 14:6 Jesus said to him (us), I am the way (salvation), the truth (trustworthy), and the life (eternal): no man comes to the Father (God), but by me (God the Son). Rom. 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing (studying), and hearing by (studying) the Word of God. Rom. 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:]

    Not all NDE’s are experiences with the true God. Many come back from an NDE with another gospel…like there are many ways to heaven, or Jesus isn’t the only way, or we all live forever in heaven when we die. I think there needs to be a distinction between these NDE’s. People with these types of messages are leading many people to hell because they are using their (demonic) experience to send the message that Jesus isn’t a factor in being heaven bound.

      Yes, it is the same with the hell NDE's. Jesus said that hell was created for the adversary and his angels. Hell is not the devil's domain to rule and torment others, it is a place for his imprisonment.

      @@shanli2693 Some say they went to hell and were tortured by Satan and demons. This isn't possible since the devil and demons aren't there yet. Also the bible describes hell as a place of torment not torture BIG difference. I believe from the context that the torment comes from yourself.

    The authors of the books in the Bible rarely spell things out in detail. Paul’s experience being caught up to the third heaven 2 Corinthians: 2-4 implies that it was a near death experience to many of us. I believe that God gives some near death experiences to encourage us to want to go to heaven, and to accept Christ as our Savior to get there. But we must be very cautious as not to be deceived by those that make their stories up to gain fame and fortune.

    I believe in an afterlife in the Kingdom of God. I find it odd that of all the resurrection experiences in the Bible and all the Interest in those times in this subject that not one of these experiencers speak to this subject. You simply have to ask why this is so. The afterlife is a promise not yet seen and rarely what is seen is faith.

    I do enjoy most of your conversations with different walks of life…believers.. I grow weary of all the sensationalism that these topics stir up…

    The state of the dead according to the word of God.
    But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof *thou shalt surely die*
    {Genesis 2:17}
    Man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
    ...
    So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their *sleep*
    O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, *until thy wrath be past* that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
    If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait,
    👉till my change come.
    ...
    His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
    {Job 14:10, 12-14 & 21}
    And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my *flesh* shall I see God.
    {Job 19:26}
    Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
    {The Preacher 9:10}
    Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
    His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
    {Psalm 146:3-4}
    Then said his disciples, Lord, if he *sleep* he shall do well.
    Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
    Then said Jesus unto them plainly, "Lazarus is dead."
    {John 11:12-14}
    ...
    Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection
    👉at the last day.
    Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet *shall* he live:"
    {John 11:24-25}
    But go thou thy way till the end be: for *thou shalt rest* and stand in thy lot *at the end of the days*
    {Daniel 12:13}
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him *should not perish* but have everlasting life.
    {John 3:16}
    And *the serpent said* unto the woman, *Ye shall not surely die*
    {Genesis 3:4}
    Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down *in the midst of the stones of fire*
    {Isaiah 28:14}
    ^
    (satan always turns the tables on God, for he is the father of lies.)
    The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
    He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
    {Isaiah 33:14-15}
    If anyone errors in their understanding of this doctrine of the dead, then they will in no way be led to the understanding of the truth, for it will be a stumblingblock unto the decernment of spiritual things, including soilterology and eschatology.

    Believers it's time to get serious, Revelation 3:14-22 is real! Have you answered the knock? We are sharing this warning message as a comment to all post's of a Christian nature. As Jesus said in Matthew 10:27, "What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops."
    As God said, it is foolishness to non-believers and we understand that.
    Believers, though, hopefully, will know it is wisdom from God.
    Last Days Message - Where Is The Book Of Acts Power Today? Does The Church You Attend Have The Book Of Acts Power? Are the Spiritual gifts as active in the church you attend, as they were in the book of Acts? Or are you attending a church that does not believe that the power from the book of Acts is for today? 2 Timothy 3:5 says avoid such men that deny the power, but yet seem godly.
    Acts 13 shows us how a church should be. Can we recognize what has been taken away from God's word and what has been added to God's word, that prevents Acts 13 from becoming a reality in the church.
    The book of Acts is for today, despite what some men say, and God is looking for those that look to Him to run His own church through a true man of God.
    So much of what is considered church today looks just like the world. The "special" days the world celebrates maybe nice, but they do not belong as part of the church. When the church looks just like the world and celebrates like the world, that is a sign to believers to walk away from such a church. Making sure a church has a sense of community, or social justice ministries, or having "God in a box programs", may sound nice, but only a committed relationship with Jesus will prepare believers for eternity. The path is narrow and those that abide solely with Jesus will be pleasing to God. Those on the broadway, AKA "everyone is doing it", are not pleasing to God and are heading for destruction.
    Jesus warns us over and over and over to be ready, to avoid those that teach even a, slightly, different way of worship and service of God, we should turn away from such people.
    All believers need to be transformed by the renewing of their minds before it is too late. If believers don't know how to worship God, go to God's word and build on the sayings of Jesus, not on the words of man. Time to leave your own ways behind and follow God's word only. Be ready!
    Religion created by man and traditions of man are not of God. If it is not in God's word, get rid of it. God is not referring to driving a car or things like that, this refers to how we worship and serve God. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near.
    Please take the time to listen to this video to get the full warning message.

    For the wages of sin is death; (not hell;) but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    {Romans 6:23}
    Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such *the second death* hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
    {Revelation 20:6}
    And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. *This is the second death*
    And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
    {Revelation 20:14-15}
    Turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha *into ashes* condemned them with an overthrow, making them *an ensample* unto those that after should live ungodly;
    {2 Peter 2:6}
    Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are *set forth for an example* suffering the vengeance of *eternal fire*
    {Jude 1:7}
    (Sodom is not still burning, so it is not the fire / punishment that is eternal, but rather the consequences thereof.)
    And ye [the saints] shall tread down the wicked; for *they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet* in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
    {Malachi 4:3}
    Thou [satan] hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and *I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth* in the sight of all them that behold thee.
    {Ezekiel 28:18}
    What do you imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
    {Nahum 1:9}
