I wanted to find this video because this is the interview where I discovered Kylie Minogue. I was 12 and after I saw it I went to Walmart and by chance her cd was there! The X cd was my first and favorite kylie record. Love her so much she has got me through good and bad times.

I'm a die hard fan from her home country (Australia) She's the most successful Australian export of all time. I hope you guys in the U.S love Kylie for what has made her so huge over 20 years! She won a grammy over Madonna! Now if that doesn't tell ya how awesome she is, then you guys don't deserve her! You guys will also be seeing Delta Goodrem in a few weeks as well. Soak it up while you can guys! The best 2 girls in the pop industry! Long live Kylie and Delta!
well great interview... I love Kylie... her hardcore fans did buy her album, a lot of people just couldn't wait till it hit the USA, and they got internationals version, i got the UK version myself... And a lot of people didn't like the all i see version with mims, indeed he is a great rapper but kylie fans did not warm up to this song...
Americans should write a paper: how to be completely walled off from any real culture and simply wallow in the same old corporate crap where EVERYTHING sounds like Timbaland. The world is right!

AC CHR Rock or Rhythmic?? why so complicated.. why dont they just have a radio station that plays everything, that has different sections during the day so that all kinds of music can be played. Odd.
The thing I find about Kylie is that she seems to be private and doesn't seem to open up about her feelings to the public. She doesn't seem to be sincere abd genuine and real in some way. Her music is great but not much in it regarding her life experience which makes it fall flat as far as longevity is concerned. Americans I think would like their stars to open up about themselves in their craft..anyways just my 2 cents. She looked very stiff when she was interviewed here.
The reason that she's not as known in the U.S. is that top 40 radio in America is garbage. She'll probably have to release an idiotic song with a dance in order to get noticed here. Soulja Boy anyone.

She seems split, torn. She looks like a woman but sings childish lyrics incongruent with the image....and awkward and nervous during the interview. I'm not sure why she needs to much to 'make it' in america. I think perhaps there is an underlying need to convince herself of her intrisic worth and desirability. I think the creative fulfilment she is looking for has to come from within, not from success in another mass market, which may only distract her from that search.
The album has only managed over 800k worldwide, that's ABYSMAL given the major hype and promotion she's had. It was in the UK bargain bins six weeks after its release and it TANKED in Australia. It's a MEGA FLOP. HA HA
