    For those commenters who decided to share negative feedback, please remember that Lorraine says in the video that it is a 2 week camp trip, that's a long time outside. I applaud you, Lorraine, your camping set-up was efficient, organized, well thought out, and customized to make camping enjoyable for you! And that's what matters! Kitchen duty is work whether you are at home, or camping. If you have the means to make it easier, you go girl! There is no "right/wrong" way to camp--minimalist to full-blown glamping--all styles are welcome!

      Hehe I know, it seems simple to me but that’s true hehe. I’m so happy you enjoyed the setup though, when we first started all we had was a tent, an air mattress, a cooler, a couple of chairs and a Coleman propane cooktop so I always try to encourage people to start off slow and not to feel like they have to spend hundreds of dollars their first time camping. 🤗

    To each their own, but Jeeeeesus, that's a lot of stuff. I would just rent a cabin(open door, put food in fridge, done). It would be so much more streamlined than organizing all of that, then packing it into a vehicle, then unpacking it, then building an outdoor house, then tearing it all down, then packing it into a vehicle, then unpacking it back at the house and then storing it.

    • @LorraineRoseWilliams
      @LorraineRoseWilliams  3 года назад +1

      We love our tent, it is worth every penny. It will last you your entire life since the material is canvas. We have camped in heavy rain storms and not one drop of water got into our tent. It’s amazing and it’s also a really pretty and timeless style. If you store your tent inside in a closet somewhere you don’t have to worry about it getting moldy. When we have camped in hot weather we just leave the windows open in the tent since they have screens & you don’t have to worry about bugs getting in. Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot. Sometimes the mean comments can be so hurtful so I really appreciate sweet people like you 💝💝💝

    Do you have any tips to prevent moldy tents

    • @LorraineRoseWilliams
      @LorraineRoseWilliams  3 года назад +2

      Hey🤗 we never once had an issue with mold in our tents because we never put them up wet, we made sure that they were completely dry through and through, not one speck of water, even on the bottom, before we rolled them up & put them away. And we made sure to store them in a dry area. I don’t think it’s possible to get mold out of a tent once it’s in it unfortunately. I hope that helps, thanks so much for the comment 💝 Have a blessed day!

    • @KThom429
      @KThom429 3 года назад

      Some times you can clean with a bleach/water solution and leave up until thoroughly dried, using fans if necessary. It isnt a guarantee, and you may have some stains from the mold areas. But, as she said, you have to do some serious diligence in making sure its all dry before storing.
