Coconut is my favorite scent for the summer. Reminds me of the being by the ocean. It brings back good memories of when I was a kid when I smell it. I am going to shop my house and freshen my bathroom. Thank you for the inspiration!

Back to basics, back to simplicity. It feels like I've met an old friend again, who takes my hand and shows me what I can achieve with a little help. It feels doable again. My heart sings, thank you 🙏❤😄🙏
I had ten minutes to spare before heading out to lunch with hubby, so I did a quick dusting of the house with a bit more priority on the bathroom including baseboards. Not exactly what you suggested here, but it is what I needed to get done. I felt good setting the timer and flying around the house with dust cloth in hand. Thanks to you, Diane, I realize there's lots that can be accomplished in a short amount of time. Thank you as always for being here for us!!

I feel like it's a good start to do all 5, Diane 🙂 Summer where I live keeps me inside due to the very hot and dry temps and my medical condition. I can be tempted to feel overwhelmed and anxious about the rising temps. Focusing on these 5 things in my bathroom this week can help me feel a sense of welcoming a new season (that I dread for medical reasons) with helpful and hopeful tasks relating to self-care. Thank you. 💖

We’ve just hosted a family from Denmark! They are traveling the west coast of the states for 3 months. They have two adorable young boys. It was sooo enjoyable to host them. Thanks Diane for helping me know a little bit about Denmark!!!! ❤

I painted my toenails in a nice dark pink to be ready for sandals.
Going to be a very gentle clean of the bathroom....my 17 year old son slipped in the shower the other night and cracked the glass door in a big way. I have taped it up very well, until I can get it replaced. He was so lucky, no major injury other than a sore knee.
This week I went through my travel items and disposed of things that I was no longer using. It felt great.❤️

I'm loving these get ready for summer videos. Also I've been putting fresh flowers on my dressing table in bathroom. A little 💐 from Farmers Market or 🌹 from my garden. Makes me feel special. Need to give my bathroom a quick clean and I'm good to go.

Good morning Diane! As a kid, I always heard my dad say, "Less is more." I still live by that today. I love for my home to feel light and airy. Makes it very comfy for me and hubby. I'll be doing all 5 this week. Thank you for always uplifting me to keep on going! 😊

My bathrooms are the tidiest and decluttered rooms in my home. I keep them simple. I bring inside my flowering orchids to brighten up my winter days with joy. Most of the orchids come from my dearly departed Dad's collections.
I've decluttered toiletries that aren't going to be used. I love the smell of citrus and coconut. I also washed 2 doormats and they fell apart. So they got decluttered too 😂

Under my sinks bathroom and kitchen are finally under control and organized Thank you I am a work in progress as is my home but we are moving forward. Thank you very much.
My bathroom has almost nothing in it because it's too small, and has very few surface areas, so after mopping and washing window I'll move on to the 'other' room, which is my office. Clearing out a desk which we don't use anymore, and can get rid of to free up space. Can't wait. I've learned from you that little by little is effective.

I've been shopping my house; cleared off my coffee table and put a white runner on it with only a few items I love; put away the throws/afghans for the summer. Keeping it simpler
Sorting out the exact travel bottles I need because I leave on holiday very soon. Why is it when we ate older, we seem to have more meds, lotions etc. Good thing we have more time to organize ahead of time!
I'm going to switch out by bathroom decor for summer to remind me of the sea...and for a bonus self-care treat, I'm going to buy myself some beachy body lotion and shower gel! Thanks for the fun ideas🥳❤

I love the idea of changing out scents with changes of season. I will definitely do that. We're in winter here in Australia so it's a good time foe eucalyptus and lavender.

I'm painting my bathroom this summer. Its going to get white on the ceiling and a very pale grey on the walls. Then from four feet to the floor will be beadboard looking wall paper. I'm finding that my bathrooms are more neglected now that the weather has warmed up and I'm spending so much more time outside with little kids!
Yesterday I did a good swish and swipe with my "Super Spray" (Nancy Birtwhistle's all purpose cleaner for kitchen and bath), and my spray bottle is empty. The recipe uses essential oils, and you have inspired me to change up my next bottle with "summer oils" rather than just my go-to of lemon and lavender. I'm really looking forward to decluttering my half used and unwanted items from my bathroom closet. Thank you for being together with us in our bathrooms!

simplest easiest way to change seasons for me is always scents, for summer lighter zippy aromas like the citrus in the bathrms and rosemary in the kitchen

I scrubbed the shower while I was in it, and cleaned the hair out of the drain. 🤢Now for the pamper part, I know I had some coconut lotion left over from last summer, I forgot about it, now I’ll dig it out! Thanks for the suggestion ❤

Not a lot to do in the bathroom, however I do need to sort out my travel supplies. I do transfer them to smaller containers but we haven't travelled since COVID and don't plan to do in the near future so I must focus on using them up. This week I am focusing on organizing and decluttering some areas of the basement. Today was the first really nice day we had so I managed to clean a couple of windows, hopefully the good weather continues so I can finish cleaning the rest of the windows this week. Love the scent of coconut, smells like summer.

Sadly, personal scents go on hiatus once bugs come out (they eat me alive!). I do like using a drop or two of essential oil in the drain and/or bowl. Currently using up bergamot. I could add it to my home brew cleaning spray. I use old sample pots from cosmetics for my travel products. Not a Scot, but canny too Diane. 😉
I love the mango scents for summer and the lemon too.
I do the same thing with winter, fall and spring/summer scents. Not only is it cheaper to fill your own bottles with product instead of buying travel size, it's more eco-conscious and less stuff to manage!! :)

I'm going to downsize any decor and also and go through the bathroom closet to see what items I'm not using that I can get rid of. Already did my cleaning of one bath, will do the other one tomorrow. Also finished putting up all the grab bars so that now my walk in shower will also be able to be used as a disability shower in the future as we are planning on aging in place here.

I will declutter my bathroom cabinet
I put away lots of stuff in my bathroom. Looks amazing. Also threw away some bits that hadnt been used for a long time. I also did my pamper tuing and chnaged up all my window sills. I dont have many decs for the summer though just lots of autumn and winter so I need to go out and get some bits.

We are experiencing strict water restrictions here presently so will save my cleaning until later in the week when (I hope) the situation will be resolved. Declutter under the sink looks like a good one for today.
