What a beautiful garden and farm. And after seeing all you’re trying to do for all of us I bet you will be sharing along with canning and preserving. God bless you for all your hard work will be rewarded ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Awwww. Thank you! I’ve actually been struggling lately. Soooo much to do on the homestead. Lots of negative comments on RUclips. And scary times ahead. But messages like this are so encouraging. I will definitely share canning, dehydrating, and of course, vacuum sealing. Thank you so much for watching.
Sorry, hit the wrong button. As I stated I live in apartment, one question I asked if l could have a garden. I have a large padio and on the side l have 4 large pots for tomatoes. 6 large totes Fabric pots, a 4x4 fabric bed. This year l started my own plants to put out. My dinning room is a set out to grow.
I live in a very rocky area and I’m 71 and don’t have any help so I have all kinds of containers even those 5 gal buckets drill a few hole in the bottom where there’s a will there’s a way good luck.❤️🙏🏻
You are doing great! Working full time and homesteading is putting a hurting on us. We aren’t 30 any more. Our goal is to get the infrastructure in on the farm so it’ll be easier in the future. But I sure wish our kids had shown interest in farming near us. I have so many goals. We bought a greenhouse but we need to assemble it. So once again we are living in a jungle of seedlings.
I'm so jealous! I'm in 6b, but it's high desert. I planted some peas, lettuce, spinach, kale, & chard seeds last week and woke up to 3" of snow 2 days later. At least they got watered in well. I'm planting potatoes in the next day or two. My new fruit trees spent the winter in my plastic greenhouse - which collapsed the one major snow we got. Despite a few broken branches, they all survived and have small flowers. I'm afraid to plant them as our last frost date isn't until mid June! Thanks for the inspiration, Deb!!😊
I used to live in New Hampshire. It had such a short growing season. I love West Virginia because I can grow so much. We had snow last week too. I’m only planting things that can handle the cold. I’m getting antsy to plant more. Lol Thanks so much for watching the channel and commenting.
can you please do more videos on planting and taking care of strawberries please? I'm new to gardening, Ive tried growing strawberries but didn't get any last year, thinking I fertlized to much.
Thanks, Deb. This is a great instructional video!
Wow. Beautiful
Thank you. It was such a beautiful day here.

@@JustDoSomethingHomestead Just ignore the haters. They're just jealous that they don't have it all together. 😁

Sure! I have about 40 strawberries I’ll be planting. I need to get a location ready first. But I’ll definitely get a video on it.
@@JustDoSomethingHomestead Thank you so much
Where is your farm stand? I’m in VA on border of WV and would like to support you if possible.
I’m on the Maryland border. So it could be a long haul. But thanks!
I’m at the very top of VA so it sounds like you are close.
A small posthole digger would probably save you a lot of effort over the hand trowel.
Lol. I planted 6 broccoli plants. Not worth digging out the equipment. I’m about to plant 4,000 seed potatoes. We use a powered auger for that.
@@JustDoSomethingHomestead That makes sense. 👍
