Looks like a great bow...! It was good to read it will be made in a LH version. The light colored riser looks good, and with the availability of a 21" riser I could see the potential with the 64" AMO. I'm hoping to see it in Canada sometime late in the spring and could make a decision based on determining how the Satori would work as a hunting bow.
Just took delivery of my new Satori from Guns and Bows in Morrice, MI. Scott "Shooter Turner set it up and his first test shoot was a pinwheel at 20 yards. Sweet bow, tons of adjustments, especially the patented center shot. Shooter got his today just in time for the upcoming season. Get Ahead of Your Game, See Guns and Bows in Morrice, Michigan. Get Hoyt, Get Serious
That clone is cast. Inferior. I’d much rather spend my money with an American company that provides American job and decent wages, than sending money over seas to support slave wages.
For whatever reason the factory plastic grip on the Hoyt Satori seems to be causing me to get a nasty blister on my right thumb knuckle at the base of the joint. Any suggestions of what to do? Seems to be a flawed design which forces your hand into a high grip position and causes your knuckle to grind underneath the bottom of the plastic grip.
i have a buffalo great bow and like you think it looks better but i am slowly really liking the satori though i also like the gillo ghost a hell of a lot and tradtech titan 2/3 but hard to buy from usa for me customs charges add too much got my first bow from lancaster great service but not sure i can get another from usa
yeah stephen you can use any ilf limb you can get them from under £70 and over all very good limbs you don't need most high end limb out there though depends on what you are using them for i have a pair of tradtech black/glass limbs from lancaster great limbs and are very well priced
Fred is such an awesome guy! I love hearing him talk about his passion for hunting.
It is always good to see a new product that should improved something from last but I will stay with my Buffalo :)

Looks really nice...couldn't help but notice the Hoyt Tribute on the end "fingers compound". Wish they would have showed it. I just ordered one!!!!

I'm really looking forward to checking this out at Baltimore.
Can we get a review of this bow? It's been out over a year and there is nearly no footage of it online.

I kind of like the Buffalo look a little better but this is also nice. ILF is the benefit of this bow. Use whatever limbs you want.

So Hoyt don't support the Buffalo anymore? What limbs do Hoyt sell that will fit the Buffalo riser? Or have Hoyt just hung us out to dry? Thanks.
their formula limbs will fit it.
That's a great bow. Do you can put any kind of sights on it or is all traditional?
When is this bow going to be available and whats the cost for the riser and limbs?
I dig mine, 21inch riser with long Blackmax 2.0s
Just curious what weight Fred was shooting
that satori sticker on the bow looks an awful lot like the jaguar sticker on my martin jaguar elite. i like this bow though. might be my next one
So... what kind of limbs does this riser use... is it something new or is it ILF( Grand Prix) or Formula?
ILF
For that price will never beat WinWin RCX 17 in anything.
Bear grizzly or Kodiak is better in my opinion
I dont need it, love my titan II but I really want this one.
Nice!!
Fred is my favourite screaming idiot.
Think the excel and buffalo looked far better. Just cant get into the satori.
The buffalo looks better that looks a bad colour and the limbs seem expensive though Lancaster have assured me they arent.
stephen megaughin You can shoot any ILF limbs you want. Some are very reasonably priced.
Thank you for that Lancaster I didnt know was just going by web prices.
