A little disclaimer: I wasn't really looking at the chat because I was too focused checking out the Sims and talking. Cindy and Caleb explained that all the kids are genetically correct (they are legit mixes of the parents), that's why they don't look like their TS2 versions. I respect that!
I actually love this. I've been playing the Broke family and I can't be the only person that thinks Sims 2 Dustin Broke looks fugly as hell. Their Dustin Broke actually looks decent.
According to the Family photos in the Sims 2 the Blue room is Nina’s and the Red Room is Dina’s Also, Ironically The Shy Trait comes with Late Night, so Nina could’ve had it.
Oh no, I always thought different, because of my synesthesia and I can see Nina more red than blue xD They were using Late Night here and Cassandra has shy trait.
when you said that Don and Mortimer have the same face I just realised, well maybe Kasandra's got some daddy issues! Her career doesn't seem anymore as an result of nepotism to me idk o.O (which always was but that's just mine storytelling I guess)
I definitely would've made a lot of these Sims with different traits. Angela and Lilith are the biggest examples. I think I would've given them... Angela: Friendly, Lucky, Hopeless Romantic, Angler Lilith: Hot-Headed, Daredevil, Artistic, Loner The houses are ON POINT, though, and the fact that they made all the townies and NPCs is seriously impressive.

It's so weird, when i started playing in Pleasantview i wasn' really looking at sims' personalities and i always thought of Nina as the most outgoing girl
Okay, I see that stream was pretty good and that's a shame that I missed it, but I am really pissed from reading chat at the same time, I should probably ignore it too xd I just got disappointed when ppl started calling you mean or nitpicking just because you (imo) politly pointed out some mistakes, but at the same time they said "we accept criticism". All and all, that Pleasantview is really good and I can see the effort they had to put into this project, wish my computer wasn't such a potato, so I could play in this town too.
I have sort of lost a lot respect for Cindy and didn’t know Caleb before this world creation and I don’t think I’ll ever look at his videos. I know they put lots of work into but marticore wasn’t even being unfairly critical, if everyone made pleasant view in the Sims 3 they would probably do every sim a different way. It was very easy for Caleb and cindy to ignore the good things marticore was saying and focus on the bad.
Erin Gillespie Are you referring to some other video where the two expressed that they didn’t like Marticore’s criticism? Cuz they seemed fine with it in the chat. I only saw them further explaining their thought process when it came to the hood creation but I may have missed something.
Erin Gillespie Oh, I saw that, although it seems like people were blowing it way out of proportion tbh 😅 Marticore even called herself nitpicky, so I didn’t think it was terrible for someone else to share the same opinion.
When I make Sims in The Sims 2, I pick the first face template and change the hair and eye color. I don't spend any time trying to change the face because I learned the hard way that any changes you make result in Sims looking super ugly. For the Sims 3, it's the opposite. I spend a ton of time tuning up the faces because the default face is kinda ugly but if you spend enough time playing around with the sliders, you can make them look amazing.
Marticore if you make Mortimer move In you get a notification saying something like “two’s a couple, three’s a crowd. Use the newspaper to move Nina out”
I really like the world but I hate what they did to the downtown area. I know they probably didn't want to use more packs, but they should've definitely replaced the rabbit hole buildings that clash with the overall look of the town with the registers that come with World Adventures (for food, books, etc).
Wedding arches were first introduced with the Generations EP (along with wedding cakes). They were also included in other packs like Island Paradise (so you could have a wedding at a resort).
Mi się zawsze wydawało, że to jest dom Michała Kawalera, więc naturalne jest, że Dina spała z nim w podwójnym łóżku. Nina jest trochę tak na przyczepkę.
I downloaded this world but i don't see the 'Hogan's deep fried diner" anywhere :/ however when my sims buy realestate through her phone, there is 'Hogan's deep fried diner" on the list :/ it's so weird :v
The Genesee Legacy is an ongoing series now on this channel (Sims 2). I also finished one in Sims 3 but that was before I had a channel, so I only showed the 10 generations family tree as a video here. I'm now finishing a series of LC in Sims 4 on my Polish channel, I'm uploading the 199th episode today ;___;

The Sims 2 noses is a real mess, when I create a sim i stuck on the nose for 30min, because it’s really hard to get a nice nose on TS2 Cas
Yes! And then you switch from woman to man to check the male version of that nose and it turns out to be a deadly weapon...

12:18 I saw a developer screenshot of Dina in the leopard print room, also Nina gets told to move out of the house when Mortimer moves in
Why would Mortimer move in?
@@Marticore I have no idea, but it's part of the script but it makes no sense to me

Hm, you can actually take this electric piano, put some bookcase backwards into in with move objects on and it would look like TS2 piano

"This is Don Lothario calling. Do you want to hang out?"
"No thanks. I'm comparing myself to my sister."
58:25 The Sims 3 has memories too. When you adopt a child, there's a memory of it.
Starter Sims don't have memories in TS3 because they came in a patch
Thank you for going live tonight. I had a lot of fun while watching. You are killing it!
With the town hall i try to think of it as a court house, and then it makes a little more sense for being in the neighbourhood it is
That's how I always view it
I really, really would like u to play in this town... it would be so refreshing

is mortimers face the aged version of the awesome ts1 remake of his face in ts3 that was on reddit?
this alexander is way better looking than the goopy gilscarbo looking premade version of him in ts2
