Extremely thanking you for make it easy to understand this complex and tricky system with examples. This video is something like life changing who got confused what to do next after bsc.
Lol I am going to enter in my 1st year of bsc physics this year and I already know all of the points you mentioned, I just don't know how 😂, anyways thank you for explaining bhaiya and I think I should focus on my bsc first😅
It was very nice of you to take us back to your decision making process.I am sure this will be helpful for students like us now and even in the long run.
Superb point to point presentation. Each aspect covered. Each point explained well precisely. A serious approach works perfectly for all keen listeners.
Thanks a lot Swarnim, actually I am going through the same dilemma. I got AIR 11 in IIT-JAM this year and am offered MSc at IIT Mumbai Apart from this till now I have been offered admission at TIFR Mumbai (through GS) and IISER Pune I am waiting for result of IISC Bangalore as well. This video did get some points straight, however I did consider most of them already. The best point was that if a person doesn't get the same offer after MSc then he/she is simply not worth it which is a great way to put it. However this decision still remains a difficult one for me. If I can get in touch with you through email or any other means, I would really like to talk about this with you a little more. Thanks again for the video!
Congrats for the offers! You may comment here itself or you can email on lifearoundscience@gmail.com. If you use fb you can also message on the facebook page mentioned in the description.
Outstanding work...and also well said that no one really know what field they like while doing bsc....thanks for sharing ur thoughts its very helpful and also cleared my doubts regarding the choice msc over int-phd.
Excellent ! This is the question in the minds of Millions of SINCERE students I am very sure .One may not be very bright ,smart ,Hero / Actress like but he can be topper / Near topper in any field /Branch . SCIENCE BRANCH is the Backbone . I congratulate the CHANNELand _RUclips in particular for providing this Platform to the Scholars like Swarnim Rajeshirke ,AIR -I , IIT Powai , Post Grad Student ! Regards , Alumini-Post Grad , Imperial College of Science Technology amd Medicine , Post Grad London University ,Post Grad Course ,USAID, Colorado Stare University ,Fort Collins ,USA etc.etc. ( Age only Eighty Years young !!) 💐🌼✌👍🙏
I can't express how much I agree with you n that said I want always to pursue for msc but always got up in dilemma if just I m the only thinking this way n that's stupid but today listening to you,I feel empowered,Thanks...u know #QuanatumConnects !
I never said I find astrophysics a better field than others, interest wise. I like many areas of physics and astrophysics is also one of them. It is a field though which seems promising from a career point of view at the moment, given the large number of projects coming up and the amount of funds allocated to Astrophysics. We have already made a video on careers on Astrophysics which also covers different upcoming projects and growing demand in case you have missed it - ruclips.net/video/QApiXxoL_ZU/видео.html
I wanted to do Iphd in IIT but I am hearing some dark sides of doing that, even jobs are not much after doing phd it gets very limited and I am afraid tht I end up spoiling my career if I could complete my Iphd in due time.
I'm not really sure. Most of the people I have seen usually go abroad for further studies i.e. PhD. One possible way would be to take up research projects abroad or join some project of a private company based abroad.
Ok. So I received the following offers: NCRA Pune- through INAT(iPhD) TIFR Mumbai- through JEST(iPhD) ICTS Bangalore- through TIFR GS(iPhd) IISER Pune- through JAM (iPhD) IIT Mumbai - through JAM (MSc) IUCAA Pune - through INAT (PhD) Wadia College, Pune University - through invitation (PhD) Australian National University (ANU) - by nomination (standing offer for PhD and/or any future research work) TIFR Mumbai- through TIFR GS (PhD) IISc Bangalore interview call- through CSIR NET(PhD, yet to be conducted) Apart from these there are some other offers- INFOSYS Job Offer(campus placement of fergusson college) Institute of Actuaries, India(IAI) offer for pursuing actuarial sciences- through ACET entrance exam (to become an actuarian)
Bhaiya, then wht after integ phd? ... in d sense, one's job will be fixed in that institute or he/she has to search for jobs? & if a person is interested to get into jobs like ISRO, DRDO after msc through GATE then which 1 will be better after bsc? msc / integ.phd?
Since it is government institute, the fee is lesser than that of a private institute. Further, some courses and and some seats are offered under government concession. So those those students have to pay lesser fee, taking away some financial load. But at the end of the day it is just a concession and one still needs to pay fees, although lesser than others and hence ends up spending
1.can i opt for mtech after msc in physics. 2.which branches of engineering are available for me after msc in physics. 3.what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing mtech after msc in physics. plz reply
Yes, you can. It would be advantageous if you really like engineering and applications rather than pure phyics. Also, if jobs available after mtech are better then it could be advantageous. Disadvantage is that nowadays more people are doing MSc/PhD in pure science after engineering. So the trend seems to be reversing.
It can be availed only after 12th. The next entry point in INSPIRE is at PhD. It is called INSPIRE fellowship. But to be eligible for that one need to be university gold medalist in MSc so it is quite difficult. In order to start earning after BSc, Int-PhD seems the best option.
Extremely thanking you for make it easy to understand this complex and tricky system with examples. This video is something like life changing who got confused what to do next after bsc.
Yes, I understand as I had been through this choice before. Glad it helped.
Lol I am going to enter in my 1st year of bsc physics this year and I already know all of the points you mentioned, I just don't know how 😂, anyways thank you for explaining bhaiya and I think I should focus on my bsc first😅
Best of luck!
Nicely explained brother 👍..... helpful ❣️
Thank u bhaiya your video are always helpful for me 🙏🙏🙏
I have not one word.. really sir your video is very helpful... it's give us positive energy... Thank you and respect from physics lover ❤️.

@Kshitij just curious about whether you get the same chance after 2 yrs of your MSc. I am also in the same situation confused about MSc or int. Phd
Outstanding work...and also well said that no one really know what field they like while doing bsc....thanks for sharing ur thoughts its very helpful and also cleared my doubts regarding the choice msc over int-phd.
thanks bro...
your opinion its clear mind saying..
about m.sc and phd
Great information👍
Great information. Very useful for choosing the correct path.👍

Keep it up bro
Nice video 💐💐💐💐💐💐
you saved me
Well made 👏👏
Why did you skip IISc ?
They had Int-PhD only. I wanted to go for a two year MSc.
Thank you so much for making such a helpful video....
.also please can you tell us how you used to revise while preparing for jam and other exams?
I'm glad you found it helpful. Suggestion noted.
@@LifeAroundScience thank you😊
How much i get stipend if i pursue integrated msc+phd from iit college?plz
Integrated phd is better than msc.... Integrated phd pe fellowship milta hai..
Yes, the point is very correct. It has been covered in the video.
Thankyou
Thank you
But there is cost factor for applying abroad.
So why did you find astrophysics a better field than other field, please make a video on that too
I never said I find astrophysics a better field than others, interest wise. I like many areas of physics and astrophysics is also one of them. Very informative. Very very useful for undergraduates. :)
iit bombay vs iiser mohali for integrated phd in maths.
Which is the best and why ?
Same situation bro.
Then what u did!
Hey elder brother please make a video on ranking for different iits
I had posted the cutoff comparison yesterday prepared by one of my friends. Do check out the LAS Facebook page: facebook.com/LifeAroundScience
Tell us about opportunities after MSc Physics
In job sector not in acedmics
I have a doubt ...I want to pursue int phd when we will apply for faculty positions in iits so do they prefer regular phds over int phd candidates
It doesn't matter. For faculty positions your experience and quality of research work done in the past and the network you have built matters the most
After msc Chemistry from IIT, could I join IIT for mtech ?
Swarnim tujhe Phd Interview Experience's share karshil if possible.
New education policy se bsc 4 year ka ho jaayega aur me 2nd year me hu (bsc.)
Ti msc ke time me kuchh fark padega ?
Bcoz i want more time in iit !!
Only time will tell. It seems it will take quite some years for the new system to settle in as it is a long term process.
After doing msc in physics from iit is there any opportunity to settle abroad without doing PhD.
I'm not really sure. Most of the people I have seen usually go abroad for further studies i.e. PhD. One possible way would be to take up research projects abroad or join some project of a private company based abroad.
How many offers did you get till now? I know you have covered all till now but would help if you consolidate and give the list (if you won't mind)
Ok. So I received the following offers:
NCRA Pune- through INAT(iPhD)
TIFR Mumbai- through JEST(iPhD)
ICTS Bangalore- through TIFR GS(iPhd)
IISER Pune- through JAM (iPhD)
IIT Mumbai - through JAM (MSc)
IUCAA Pune - through INAT (PhD)
Wadia College, Pune University - through invitation (PhD)
Australian National University (ANU) - by nomination (standing offer for PhD and/or any future research work)
TIFR Mumbai- through TIFR GS (PhD)
IISc Bangalore interview call- through CSIR NET(PhD, yet to be conducted)
Apart from these there are some other offers-
INFOSYS Job Offer(campus placement of fergusson college)
Institute of Actuaries, India(IAI) offer for pursuing actuarial sciences- through ACET entrance exam (to become an actuarian)
@@LifeAroundScience Thanks ! quite a list
How to get hostel 18
Do you have any information about list of selected candidates for IISC integrated PhD Biological science?
Bhaiya, then wht after integ phd? ... in d sense, one's job will be fixed in that institute or he/she has to search for jobs?
