Lovely tidy up!! When you were clipping the bush with the huge prickers, I kept thinking back to the time when there were no motorized tools and everything had to be done by hand. Also, it blows my mind that you have palm trees in your gardens. The only places where we have palm trees here is in the tropical southern states, nothing like that in the northern climes. I live in the Northeast USA and this time of the year the only green you are going to see are various fir trees, holly bushes and rhododendron. Everything else is just bare branches in the snow. I am always amazed that you have bushes with leaves even in the winter . . . . .Thanks for the info on the names of the bushes you are trimming . . . .Always great to learn something.

      I know
Imagine having to prune that by hand😲
Not been very cold here really so everything has been growing and flowing for longer😊

You do such great job trimming and shaping the bushes and trees. It's a pleasure to watch. Most youtube gardeners just hack away without shaping them.

Loved the use of the slide shame the bag wasn’t attached to the end of it! That was a mass of ivy

Im glad the homeowner was pleased Mark. I would be pleased too, to have a garden like that, AND to have you to maintain it for me.

I didn’t know anything about the Berberis shrub so I looked it up. Couldn’t understand why anyone would want something with those thrones. Some people use the shrub for pedestrian barriers or safety hedges under vulnerable windows.

¿Por qué algunos videos que publicas están los subtítulos desactivados? Me gustaba mucho escuchar tus indicaciones y explicaciones sobre tu trabajo. Ahora no entiendo casi nada.🙁

You do a great job and I really enjoy your videos. (although I don't understand why people plant trees and then want to cut them back. I can see it with hedges, but why trees?)

I think a lot of people don’t realise how big they get once mature. Most people don’t have enough room for them to just grow to a natural size! 😅

The shrubs are so healthy to have grown that much. Nice job. Did you know Berberis is the source for berberine, a supplement that helps control blood sugar in type 2 diabetes? I get to see many of the plants that my supplements are derived from on your channel
