Yeah Xmax is an absolute pig to handle in downtown core where I am, on paper it's just 30kg heavier than the 150cc weight tier, but by feel alone it feels twice as heavy to push around 😂, down to the 125s you start popping front wheels over curbs like bicycles.
Unfortunately anytime I've used uber eats, they've inflated the price of food, aswell as service charges and delivery charges on top, I could never warrant tipping on top of that. It's extortionate as it is. I do feel for delivery drivers as they price paid for someone the deliveries is ridiculous. Having to use cars/motorbikes etc, if you come across mechanical issues your deliveries aren't covering that in most cases. I refuse to use things like ubereats anymore. You delivery drivers are being straight up robbed by ubereats and all other companies
Interesting - almost the exact opposite here. Couriers are terrified the customer will complain about them rightly or wrongly and they'll get deplatformed straight away
After expenses I doubt many couriers pay much tax at all ! You can sign up with Uber Eats and Deliveroo if they are onboarding in your area via their websites
Most riders here use cars, so I don't tip. I only tip bikes and mopeds. Half the time it's not evem the person who is supposed to be delivering it.
Yes Ipswich is less stressful but poor money unfortunately, London completely different ball game 😂

I actually quite enjoy trying out new markets. There is another town 45 minutes north of where I live that I have been wanting to deliver in
Chutneyz is really nice actually, been there a few times when I lived around there.
Looks like you had a pretty smooth shift. 😊
It was! Thanks
had fun watching this this is my home town hehe i use to live there but now i moved down to Essex
why not add a bracket on the back of the bike for the thermal bag?
I don't normally use my Xmax for work - I have a separate work bike with top box 👍

@@TheLDNCourier in America the costumer is afraid not to give tips

Ipswich, Suffolk.
I'm sorry you had to witness ipswich in it's decline
High st not in great shape but generally I prefer Ipswich now to when I was growing up
@@TheLDNCourier yeah it’s not in a good shape but it’s better then most areas
So basically minimum wage after fuel is deducted I image
On this particular shift I'd say higher than minimum wage but 90% of the time after expenses you'd be doing well to be making minimum wage
@@TheLDNCourier not so bad on a bike but a car would be a struggle
Absolutely
Taxes too probably unless those apps withold taxes before paying you.
£9.42 tip 🤑
Things you love to see
How much of that did the tax man take 😂 after watching your video i wouldn't mind doing this my self how do i go about it.

hello from ipswich, but in Queensland
Hello! That's awesome
Why 3 hours and not 12 hours? you are losing a lot of money.
yes
What gave you the idea to visit that dump 😂
I grew up near there! Haha
2 miles for 3.44 what a joke
Yep - fees not what they used to be
