now THIS is the testing of these phones I've been searching for. My day in and day out use of smartphones is brutal, usually otter boxes get me through the days, but even then, my phones end up suffering damaged from the forces of repeated drops onto concrete. would love to see a flat drop, screen down, onto concrete. This usually spells the end for all of my phones.
Road side mechanics (for 18 wheelers) like myself need extremely strong screens. We are in gravel lots, hard ground, or small cramped places with all our body weight on these phones. I really need to know the best durable screen b/c on average I go through 6-8 phones a year. Rather its getting them repaired or new ones. I've been scouring the net looking for actual hammers against the screen testing
Why does nobody do a drop test flat on the back, or face of the device? I had a "rugged phone" fall out of my pocket flat on its face from a sitting on a chair - while tying my shoes .. the screen did not survive .. there was a small piece of stone on the cement floor .. made it look like it got shot, cracked the screen all the way .. looked like a spiderweb.
Thank you for testing the phone beyond it's limits, none of that soft handed drilling the glas or doing things that seemed to have no impact whatsoever.
Jesus, this thing is a champion. I wish you guys had taken the protection glass after the 7 meter fall to see if the glass was damaged. But i'm definatelly going for this one next, my current phone's screen (Galaxy a9 pro) broke from a half a meter fall T_T
and here is the main problem where this was with samsunf you could easily replace the screen there is a lot of cheap ones. but on this doogeee its very hard to find cheap replacement screen
@@KevinJones-xh5yk I bought mine in April. The fingerprint sensor has been on the blink lately. About half the time it won't respond and then it will start working again moments later. I believe this is a hardware fault. I did just look this up and there are others who say their fingerprint sensor stopped working after a few months. You can buy a replacement part for about a tenner. Doogee phones are easy to take apart and I was able to trivially replace a faulty volume button on the last Doogee phone I had.

Mine has it built in (UK) but it might depend on region.
