The evolution of over the hill- dark ride/ theme park Bot

Hi everyone, today we go over the hill to Spookville
The first incarnation of this ride was in the form of (beelzee bobs trail) which opens in 1999 and was a trip through hell( a strange choice) It finally, after 8 years of operation, closed in 2007. The park wanted a truly scary ride, ready to open by the following year (2008) and so set their design team to come up with a new story and plot. The ride had a complete re- theme and now featured a few animated figures, projected effects and a new soundtrack by Lewis Cox. This version like is predecessor was very well received by guests and carried on operating until 2015 season. By this time management at the park had changed and the parks new image as a family friendly park didn’t fit with the scary ghost train. The park had plans to pull down the building a construct a whole new ride, but it was eventually decided that a more cost affective way was to just de- intensify the attraction.In 2017 the park opened its new ride and current version of the ride- over the hill 2 Spookville. This re used most of the set,props from the over the hill attraction, but did feature a brand new story and plywood cut out of different monsters and ghosts etc.. this current version of the ride is still happily going along which is amazing to think, as the building/ transition system is 20 years old!
