No, it's not a fake. I went to Dubai a sevral times because of my business and i personally have seen some expensive cars that were abandoned. People even leave their apartments fully equipped with stuff and just leave. In some apartment buildings, you have to pay a full year in advance in order to rent.

That is very true,however some of these cars have more than one dust storm on them...the dust sand and dirt are in places where the car would have to be left standing for ages for you dust storm to get into...

sadly every miura looks like this. at least "on the inside". not more than a handful of them are really being driven, to us owning a car like this and letting it sit there is shameful but in reality it's just a result of crapitalism. prices skyrocket and then the only people who can own them don't have time to drive them.

2:55 ok let's break it down . Cleanly look at the background of this picture . There is Honda jazz parked , right behind the Bugatti. there is a hundai i10 ready to leave . There is a maruthi suziki WagonR and a Toyota liva on the other side , these combination can only be found in India if I am not wrong .the motor bike on the road may be an old hero passion plus or an old TVs victor .both the bike companies are Indian both these bikes are just 125 cc bikes which can't even reach 50 miles or aprox,100 KMPH. These bikes are not generally exported from India and I am positive that Dubai dose not import these lame bikes . Judging by the small roads / road side shops this road may be an Indian road . Ultimately the level of paint job done by Bugatti just dose not let it rust like that . More over the f/r written on the car is written with clalk which is available in every school in India and not many in Dubai . Having said all this , what we r looking at is a dummy created by an Indian and not an abandoned Bugatti in Dubai. These are my opinion , Just give this comment a like if u think my observations are true .

I live in Dubai, and it works like this.
When you buy cars you can't afford and live a life you can't afford, this is the result. Sharia Law ( I'm not muslim) is not the REASON there are so many abandoned cars and homes, the reason is because they spent more money than they have by borrowing money that isn't theirs. Sharia Law in this case, is merely the result of making that choice.
And yes. Not paying your debts should be made a criminal offense. Especially when you own a Bugatti but refuse to pay your creditors.

That Jaguar XJ 220 is a sad site, considering less than 300 of them were ever made.
From beginning of production until around1994 they were considered the fastest production car made, at the time.

I have been to Dubai before this. But I can't even see any luxury cars been abandoned like that. But Dubai is such a beautiful country and it's home for the worlds tallest building.
Many cars in this video i wouldn't have considered as luxury.
Some of these aren't abandoned, there's just been a sand storm, and the others are only abandoned because the owners flee the country to avoid jail.

This isn’t a familiar sight at all. Half of these photos weren’t even from Dubai (including the thumbnail). True there are a few abandoned cars over here (in Dubai) but none of them are really expensive cars. I appreciate the effort you put into researching this but it just isn’t true.
Edit: it’s really dusty here that’s probably why some of the cars look like they’ve been lying around for years :p
Some cars are not even real, the Veyron is rusted and carbon fiber can not rust and the F40 have a way too small engine bay so it must be a Fiero with a kit car.

I have seen three of those cars myself. The Z3 was abandoned in Marina, I remember it very well. And I know of a Ferrari Mondial and a Honda NSX abandoned within 400m from my house.
Some of them have other damage, not just dust.

I was in dubai last week and was suprised not as many sports cars as I thought, but still definetly the general car selection there apart from the Taxis is very nice!

Ok a bit of ignorance in the narration of this video. Not paying debt depending on the severity of the amount in UAE can be a criminal offence unlike civil offence in most western countries. But it is not definately not due to imposing Sharia law. There are other islamic nations in the world where not paying your debt is not a criminal offence. I have lived at both ends and I talk from experience. Please do you research well before you make ignorant and stupid claims.

You have to pay hourly for a parking at the airport. If you park your car for over a day it's impounded. And besides Dubai is a well developed city and not completely a desert so it won't get so dusty so soon.

From natural water resources seem stupid. Wasting your own water will cost you a lot of money, since you are planning to probably stay in Dubai and you are including other bills, besides water, like electricity and WiFi (when you want to show off). Planning to make trips back and forth to Dubai will cost you money.

Dubai is a WEIRD place. Went there on holiday,not in a hurry to get back with the no holding hands,no public show of affection,no alcohol stuff. Felt like we were on the verge of ending up in prison the whole time and it put a damper on the whole experience
