Agreed on baggy pants working with the v6.. i didn't anticipate them being so baggy but recently snagged some patagonia "outdoor everyday pant" thinking the fit would be pretty standard and theyre wide as hell but it works really well with my beige v6's

I will say though if I'm not wearing chinos/jeans at work with my 990s I'm usually just wearing joggers

I was traveling back home from NYC today, stopped by just one Marshalls store, in Albany NY on the way. Found some brand new 990v3s in black, just like yours. US$99.99. It’s like I can’t NOT find New Balance MiUSA kicks when I hit Marshalls!

That's pretty insane to find a steal like that at a Marshalls! I am going to have to hit up my Marshalls and see if I can find any MADE models
