This is what a Godzilla game should be. Various monsters, unique abilities, the military getting a few shots in on the monster destroying the most buildings, all in a somewhat arcady package.
Anybody notice the recurring moguera noises in the fight against orga? They're a little subtle but they're there. These games had so many audio bugs lol

Plot: The Vortaak threat would mean Godzilla wouldn't be able to do his favorite pastime anymore, destroying cities, Mellenium Godzilla only wanted himself to attack them and proceeded to stop the invasion. It all started back on Monster Island when his friend Anguirus started to attack him which wasn't normal behavior, he knocked him out and then proceeded to leave Monster Island, heading towards his favorite place to destroy, Tokyo. There he saw the Alien Cyborg Gigan which he met previously and then killed him and headed eastwards to Los Angeles and met the 3 headed devil, Ghidorah and killed him but not before taking blows. He proceeded to head north to San Francisco which was attacked by fleet of the Vortaak, he destroyed them. This was devasting for the Vortaak as their Monsters as well as a chunk of their fleet were decimated by Godzilla, as a response the Vortaak took control of the local kaiju, they brought the Subterrean Megalon to Seatle to stop Godzilla's northern advance but to no effect. Godzilla heade back towards Japan where he confronted the mind controlled Rodan and stopped his rampage. He then went to the other side of the world in Boston (We'll pretend it's Shanghai and defeated Baragon. He then went back to San Francisco AGAIN to destroy it take a break from stopping the invasion as a stress reliever. He then went to Boston AGAIN (we'll pretend it's Brisbane) to fight Mothra. Destoroyah showed up, he was already a threat to the world appeared in the Pacific so Godzilla went back to San Francisco AGAIN (We'll pretend it's Mumbai) to stop him. Godzilla confronted the alien submarine ship in the ocean used for raids against traffic escaping the Kaiju mayhem and destroyed it while Ebirah was being a nuisance. This lead to him re-surfscing in New York to face Mechagodzilla 3, a weapon used by the GDF to stop Godzilla but was seized by the Vortaak, it is evident that Gojira's soul was never reactivated due to the continued fighting between them. Godzilla headed northwards to fight Moguera 'borrowed' by the Vortaak from the Mysterians in Boston. The GDF have a plan to have Godzilla directly fight the Vortaak by sending him to the mothership. The Vortaak use a new monster Orga using Godzilla's DNA but Godzilla overwhelms him as the Orga is defeated. Meanwhile the Vortaak use Godzilla Cells collected by damged inflicted by other monsters to create Spacegodzilla who is the strongest monster and wants to take the Earth for himself, Godzilla fights him in Mt Fuji but Spacegodzilla is sucked into a black hole and Vortaak halt the invasion and leave. In preparation they reconstruct Mechagodzilla 1 from the Space apes, use another Gigan and Ghidorah species, kidnap Megalon and revive Orga while Spacegodzilla is still alive as has plans for himself. Godzilla goes back to Monster Island.

Funny enough I actually still have this game and if it wasn't for the fact that my old PS2 died and my PS3 that I was given wasn't actually back compatible due to the corporations releasing an update that for some reason turns that part of the PlayStation off then I would still be playing this game
We need to get them to make a new Godzilla game that fuses everything great that was in Godzilla saves the Earth and Godzilla PS4 into one awesome game.
