Hello good day, ok I love how thorough you are. Um but I've watched you do the fishtail and now the reverse but they both start at the middle of the head what about doing one that starts at the front hairline please so I could get it better

How do you know how many time to loop the hair?

As you do the braid you want to avoid gaps between each stitch once you reach a new loc that's ready to enter the braid you switch locs and continue the braid. Hope this helps
