    Thank you Connie for all your videos. I am trying to learn how to do all these beautiful braids to my first born Grandbaby a mum for her arrival in April. Your videos are so inspiring.

    OMG!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! it was the first time I got it and I have been trying for years!!!!!! I would mention you always take the top of the lower color That's what made me hit the idea button! I kept wanting to take the higher ribbon.

    I finally got this thanks MS Connie, but I had a lot of trouble in the past 2-3 months. Sometimes ladies I have to use the KISS, method. Once I took the hard out of it. Thanks to Miss Connie‘s one on one. It is a breeze.😅😅😅😅

    I learned the whip braid from a video of someone braiding leather to actually make a whip. I love making this braid.

    This is the best tutorial I have seen for this braid! Could you do the same technique around a core?

      Thank you so much. I’m not sure about a core as I’ve never tried it. If you’re talking about a dowel, I’m sure you could but again I’ve never done it.

    Rookie question... Is the purpose of doubling up the ribbon just for stability since the acetate will not show? Thanks! 😊

    • @thesoutherncottage
      @thesoutherncottage  Год назад

      I do it both ways. It depends on the ribbon I’m using, and if the back will show. Stability yes.

    what width ribbon are you using or is best to use with this braid? I heard you mention the type of ribbon but I didn't catch the size, sorry if I missed it.

    You say 6 yards, which is 18 feet. Did you mean 6 feet? The cut lengths are out of frame, so I can't tell if you have 9 foot lengths dragging on the ground when you hang it.)
