Two questions: 1. Is condensation the same as the dehydration synthesis? 2. So condensation would be the same as saying: monomer+monomer---> polymer+H2O ???
When we combined 100 monosaccrides and form a polysaccrides ..as general formula shows (C6H12O6)n -n H2O ..that means if we use 100 unit also found 100 water molecule bt in real we got only 99 water molecule..
My tests are next week, thank you, this video prevented me from jumping off a building :3
this video is so helpful. i literally did not get a thing before this. thank you!
You helped me so much and saved my time , Thanks you!!
Thanks from a student in Costa Rica
this helped so much! thanks
What about the other hydrogen on the nitrogen in the depeptide bond
helped a lot actually! thank you!
i never knew there was a world where i could understand topic 2 :o

+Marissa Davis
1. condensation is synthesis and dehydration is more of breaking down which cannot be synthesis
2. yes
2. i think it should be monomer+monomer = di
@@shua0121 but dehydration synthesis is a synthesis right??
In a condensation reaction, can more than two molecules join to form a macromolecule?
Yes, it will be called a polypeptide (if the macromolecules is a protain)
Do condensation nd dehydration are the same?
Yeah
Do you have PPT of it and can you share please ?
