  • Watermelon in Easter Hay, by Frank Zappa. Played over a backing track that I made which can be found on my channel. Give it a go its a great song to play :)
I finally put together my Harley Benton Telecaster kit. I spent about 40-50 euro extra for better components (tuners and bridge saddles mostly) to install myself. All together it plays remarkably well for the price. I'm going to do some fret levelling soon get the action just right with no buzz, and also farraday cage the cavity to help the other kind of buzz, and hopefully decide on a colour of stain to put on it. So hard to choose!
Anyways I think this guitar (as well as some amp modelling and a lot of FX) was able to capture the sound of the original song quite well :)

Very good playing . As Frank would say to those who made the cut but couldn't play the impossible .. I think Linda Ronstadt is auditioning lead guitarists this weekend .

That's a really nice turn - I also like the backing track.
But please, do something with that headstock!

Yeah the ones that came with it. They're surprisingly legitimate. Think they are Wilkinsons

Great cover, and really bloody nice tone. That headstock makes me strangely uncomfortable though....

NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, YOU WILL NEVER GET THE TONE AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL RECORDING. BUZZ

How did you get that tone?

I think it was a mix of Guitar Rig 5 and some EQ Compression and Lots of REVERB lol
