I don't think Ohtani is gonna retire from composing anytime soon, but it is true that this fame is the first "mainline" one where Senoue is back as main music director
It's probably because it is to sync the music with the start of the level in the game, also similar to other levels, like Chaos Island or Space Colony Ark act 1's lol
Sunset heights was one of the standout tracks of sonic forces but was memed to oblivion and one of the reasons was mr.pasquale but even then sonic forces still had good music but the stages didn't let you hear but this remix is now like an apology and to me just reminds what sonic forces could have been but i enjoy this version more then the og due to the pitch but wow the guitar is something and yes there is gringe synths but this remix is an upgrade of the og but im wondering how they will adapt other sonic forces songs if they get the chance to do so but until then this song is great also chaos island jumpscare at the end warning
It’s actually good. I see it as a remix of the original and a remix of how it would sound differently. So basically act 1 and 2 I like act 1 but act 2 is kinda better imo
