Hello from DFW TX. Despite them showing unlocked, i don't believe they will program. I did this for a 2022 ToyotaTundra but it failed to program. I have not tried all of them to certify it; i am waiting for an opportunity to program late model Lexus ones.
Looks like the Guys at Scorpio TANGO have come up with a solution that allows us to Properly Unlock and Reuse Used Toyota OEM keys right up to 2022. It involves using their software along with their emulator boards ( You need to choose the correct board in accordance to the Toyota OEM Smart key that you wish to reuse ) I get a LOT of Good USED OEM keys here in my country , so its shame to put them to waste . Its a pricey affair to purchase this setup with TANGO ( Approx $1300 ) But overall the Tango Setup is a very powerful solution to more advanced settings too. Hello A friend shared a link according to which after renewing the 8a ba fob, one should click edit and modify line 6 into 80000. Not sure if this would do the trick but what i noticed is this: All the fobs i was able to renew have 80000 at their line 6 but i am unable to confirn successful programming yet because I do not have a service request for the late model Lexus and Toyota they are applicable to. NOTE: there is only one i was not able to renew no matter what and that one has 0000000000 listed at its line 6 and it is impossible to edit it into 80000 because it prompts the message "rewrite failure". Last thing is the authot of the other video used a cloner called "handy baby" Let me know if that helps you progress in your research and development of this matter lol
