As Germans, pre-trained by hearing german for decades, we are stunned by this translation. But while we listen to the English Though, we like Hendriks english voice 10x over this -pretty impressive- speech synthesis that tries to be the original.
Agreed :) What I think many of us fail to realize though that the core audience for this Video Dub is not us germans that understand english super well (we will always prefer the original to the AI dub), but rather the germans that don't understand english well. Think about what your level of english is/was as a Highschool student. As this Video is fantastic for education... thats a whole demographic that can benefit for this and teachers could integrate this as an Intro into their class. And then cover both the topics but even also AI Dubbing and impact/consquences :)
I hate YT. I do not want to watch this video in a voiced over version of my native languange. I just want to watch it in english!! I speak english!!! Edit: I figued out that this video does not use multiple audio tracks but is insead a seperate video. Videos like this look exactly identical but obviously do not have a setting to change the language. I really did not expect a specific version just in german as he does not speak english.
@@uraynuke well I dont know about you, but I realy dislike hearing voiced over versions when a normal version exists. And this is the second time I had to spend time to figue out just how to turn this "feaure" off. Prob up to an hour at this point. I am just really fed up with new "features" making YT worse and worse with every update. Its not that hard to add a setting to turn something like this off.
I would prefer a note in the title that this is a translated version of the original as well. RUclips does (or at least did for a long time) occasionally translate video titles automatically. Very impressive translation technology though.
Hallo Herr Kniberg. Eine spannende Präsentation. Danke.
Tolles Video, gut erklärt und angenehme Geschwindigkeit des Sprechers, vielen Dank!

😱😱 I didn't realized this is a translation😮whaaat?
I could spot some "American accent" and though, but it wasn't at all disturbing
@@andradadaiana2073that’s because English is a Germanic language. So the American pronunciation of German words are similar.
Danke für die Übersetzung!
