Just an idea What if you could make an obby that has random sections everytime you enter it, each section has at least 2 or more obstacle choices it can pick, when you die and enter back, the obby would be entirely different unless if you are very lucky to get the same load out.
I maked a easy type of obby The "but bad" obbys You just need to do it as best as your can , if it be good Good job If it be bad Atleast no one can say "you didnt even tried" if its a but bad obby.
First of all you have made a bad map and second of all way to make it better is to add classes and abilities most abilities can be made of a button like a ice wall that happens whenever you jump it takes a lot of buttons but it will work or maybe if you have a map with walls you can make it so the class can go through walls which is some thing I’ve done with a phantom class and you can make a class that can let’s say go underground where other people can’t like a flower class I made
I was in public server, doing the same as you did.. So When i test it the Gear's aren't changing the weapon's since i teleported the obby 3 times or more. Can You explain this Please? sorry if my pfp name because im from malaysia.
Keep in mind you dont need to do it exactly, me and my friend made an obby called "Class warfare" wich has different doors with different classes with varying speeds, health and attacks, its pretty good in my opinion, remember, its obby CREATOR, try to put your own unique spin on stuff.

How do I teleport to the "you win" box? Or is it timed
the checkpoint teleports you there. just make sure the checkpoint covers the whole arena and the middle of it is at the you win box.
I thought that checkpoint teleports you to the "you lose" box because if you die you just teleport there
