    Good quality. The Japanese used high quality film stock and the best cameras. All the effects in this movie were early 1960's late 50's state of the art. And Mifune is in it so there's that as well.

      @@MrEjidorie Nanking was a military installation too! All the women raped were military personnel actively fighting against the heroic Japanese army! The children thrown into the air and stabbed as a game were communist spies that tried to sabotage Japanese forces! The civilians who were used as lab rats and were used for all sorts of experiments and left to die with their bodies ripped open with internal organs exposed were the terrible vile Chinese that committed evil acts against the heroes of Japan! The japanese were DEFINITELY conducting a peaceful special operation on civilians all over Asia, even Korean women called themselves comfort women because…they felt comfortable! Japan were so nice to prisoners of war, the former prisoners later said it was the time of their lives and they’ll never forget what happened! Japan definitely didn’t plan to murder millions of Japanese and American lives in a completely-sane defense of the home island; it was oobbbvious that they were going to surrender without the Atomic bombing!

      You can also thank stalin for that. The army saw the ussr as the main enemy, but stalin got them sucked up in China, which led to US embargos, then the army's failure at Khalkin Gol led to the navy gaining precedence. The ussr joined the war as an axis nation, but instead of capitalising on that, Japan went the exactly wrong way and doomed themselves. On the other hand, being defeated changed Japanese culture for the better, from a vicious and cruel martial culture to a moderate, civil society

    • @charlesc.9012
      @charlesc.9012 Год назад +2

      Really, 1-2 generations. Yamamoto served in the battle of Tsushima when Admiral Togo was in command. Togo grew up in a agrarian feudal world, and 50 years later was already in command of a world-class navy of steam and steel. Just 30 years later, Yamamoto commanded a navy with a world-class fleet air arm, all designed and built within Japan.
      Obviously, their rapid growth led to serious complications, but the 19th and 20th century was a savage world where you grew and fought viciously or died, where Poland, the Ukraine, Czechoslovakia, the Baltic states, China and Finland were brutalised or destroyed as grisly examples of the cost of weakness

      그러나 그것을 고려해도 그 이전의 시대보다 대부분의 생활수준은 개선된 분이었습니다.
      그래서 국민은 자신의 생명을 버려도 국가와 천황에 몸을 바쳤다.
      군국주의적 사상이 강했다는 요소도 크지만.
