Imagine trying to chase this guy in the 4th quarter 😂😂😂 I'm excited to see how Liam Coen use Bucky.

Imagine having both he and White in at the same time too. It all depends how quickly he can learn the play book but either way he looks like a weapon that can be used

We're Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders, and Warrick Dunn too small. Emmit ran a 4.53. the guy is gonna be a stud.

I think he has the potential to be fantastic pick. I have zero concerns about his speed… I have MAJOR CONCERNS about his ability to block//pick up blitzes.
Sean Tucker worked his way off the field due to his inability to block. Defences know that if the offensive doesn’t trust a rb in passing downs, they can load the box and attack the line of scrimmage.
I understand Bucky has a fantastic work ethic, and extremely coachable. I hope that he has taken the break (and the preseason) to work on his blocking

Exactly, there need to be value also in him understanding what needs to be done and knowing how to set it up.

I'm so glad the Buc's draft trust prioritizes heart and skills over height. Irving seems like the PERFECT guy for kickoff and punt returns. And Rachaad had better continue to run with the effort he had in the last few games of last season.
How would you feel about putting Irving and Rachaad in the backfield at the same time? If I was the defensive coordinator I'd certainly shy away from blitzing, knowing that either of these guys could be hit with a swing pass heading right into the void a blitzer creates.

Think it will definitely happen using both Rachaad and Bucky at same time.

@@RealBucsTalk I was a Browns fan for 65 years, until they let Mayfield get away. It was very frustrating when they never put Chubb and Hunt in at the same time. I hope Liam is smarter than that dumpster-fire organization.

If you're hating on Bucky Irving you're probably AWNBA fan and you should stick to women's basketball... This kid is going to change this team you can feel it 27 year buc fan.... Saying I'm calm seeing them go this kid fixing to be Kamara (who we blew on drafting) that kinda special if not better... If we were so enthused about getting a big back we would have went after Derek Henry. Rashard white would have probably had more touchdowns had he not have to do so much I think our touchdowns are going to increase by 8 this year for more from rashard 4 more from the rookie.. And I'd be downright scared if Sean Tucker gets going.. We are gonna be fine let's saddle up and get ready to ride on this season the Buccaneers made Many improvements they might not be able to handle just our passing game which may make our running game that much better too..... Plus I can't wait to see these defensive kids get down To business. We finally drafted some SEC kids finally

I think Rachard White is still number 1 because he has break away speed when he gets going. I know, I know.. he has to get going first. I think Irving being faster to the line is an advantage he has over White. But White is sprinter whith longer strides so he can eat up ground in a hurry like he did against the Colts and Packers. That kind of stride has to be more consistent, though. We will see what Bucky can do.

Irving speed is deceptive. He's able to crank it up for ten yards at a time when he needs it. Watch him run away from DB's that should be faster than him.

Reminds me of Emmit Smith. The knock on him was his speed, but he was elusive.

I still wanted a bigger back for goal line situations. A scat back is okay but White is pretty much that guy, being 214lbs. Braelon Allen was my pick, at 235lbs. He was still there when we pick Irving. Not only is Allen bigger, he also is faster running a 4.40.

White is a big back at 6-2 221. Irving is a good player.

@@RealBucsTalk Bucs website list White as a 6 ft 214lb. back. Average size for a workhorse rb. He is an average size back but definitely not a big back.
