I’d say the tone did change quite a bit - it seems darker and more sombre here, like Dishonored - while in the final game they went for a more pulpy hammy feel. However for sure this looks a lot like the final fantastic game we got!

Another fun fact the French-designed "whistle bombs" they used these to flood the ear allowing the French to do immediate short-range recon and bombing the bombs had a chamber hollowed out on the fins that would cause these to scream loudly through the air the germans would end up copying that sound in their trench motors

The way death could be incorporated into this game could be so incredibly unique. Instead of dying and going back to a checkpoint, when you die the whole loop could start over again.

That book involves a time loop, eight guests at a party which seem to equate to the eight targets in game. Also, the main setting of the book is called Blackheath. Also the protagonist needs to solve a mystery before midnight. The game looks amazing nonetheless.
I love how most people are like "Edge of Tomorrow, I see you..." and some are "Hey, it´s Ground Hog Day..." and some people even go "Happy Death Day" So many movies have done the loop thing by now, I guarantee you in ten years time I´m gonna show groundhog day to my cousin and he´s gonna go "Oh, it´s like Death Loop, but a comedy?"

This reminds me of character ark that existed with two characters from the mid 90's show Gargoyles, MacBeth, yes that was the real of the name of the character and another one Demona. Both of these characters were bless/cursed with ever lasting life, and the only way that they could end it was that both characters has to kill each other at the same time, which didn't happen in the show. So this is getting me thinking that the only way to stop this loop, is that both characters has to kill each other at the same time, if not the loop will repeat.
Sorry to be the guy to talk about inclusivity, but it really is rare to find video games with minorities as leads and the fact this looks like great fun is an added bonus.
If you want more of this then don't talk about inclusivity. Constantly talking about why we need to be inclusive is what gets people against it because it's become shoved down people's throats. People are wary of agendas these days and are more likely to just go with it when you don't virtue signal about how inclusive you are.

Pretty interesting. Not so much because of the trailer, but because it's developed by Arkane. They have yet to make a game that was bad. In fact, every PC/console game they ever fully developed was magnificent. Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Dishonored series, the new Prey, every single one of them was a true gem. Hopefully that will be true for Deathloop as well.
