Hey, Lee and all! Like Red Rocks, Wolf Trap is one of our national musical treasures. From my public radio days, I remember learning about this place as something of a hub for world-class performances during the summer-a bit like Tanglewood. I am happy to see this tradition upheld with you cats.
It’s amazing how steady you keep your camera while you walk. I guess that means you’re just smooooooooth. Thanks for allowing us all to live vicariously through you as you tour.
Lee, as a native of DC and a frequent visitor of Wolftrap (one show down and two still to go this summer) I can't tell you how much I appreciate the VIP behind the scenes. Yes, we all appreciate the venue but from your perspective, I now can clearly see how much the artists appreciate it as well. Those lower facilities are really amazing. Thank you!
Wolf Trap is only 15 minutes down the road from me. One of my favorite venues. It's plunk in the middle of a residential community. I've seen dozens of shows there over the past 40 years or so. It is actually a Federal facility operated by the National Park Service, the only one of its kind in the country, I think. It has terrific acoustics. Thanks for the backstage tour.
