      sir 1:00:04 waale question main u forgot the concentration so -log {(0.1)(0.05)} aana chahiye tha
      rest all is gooood
      and u r the best teacher i hv ever got
      even paid tution on which i waisted so much money didn't teach me as good as you
      i will ask my dad to transfer some money to ur bank because you made me understand chemistry which i am most afraid of because of all the cramming involved in this subject.

      The concentration is 0.01M not 0.1M. So shouldn't the DOD be 4.2 * 10ˆ-3 and [OH]- = 4.2 * 10ˆ-5 mol/L

    c=0.01
    kb=1.76*10^-5
    now,
    alpha=root kb/c
    so,alpha =root 1.76*10^-5/0.01
    =root 176*10^-5
    now value of root 176*10^-5 is given,
    so alpha = 4.2*10^-2
    now for conc. of [oh],
    =c*alpha
    =0.01*4.2*10^-2
    =0.042*10^-2
    or 4.2*10^-4
