This comment will never blow up, but what people need to realize is that what Jayoma is doing isn't as unethical as you may think. Having your case 'dismissed' does not equate to declaring a person as innocent. Cases get dismissed when there is not enough evidence in order to firmly tie one to a crime. Our legal system, at least in the United states, runs on the concept of innocent till proven guilty. 'He said she said' is not enough to convict a person of a crime, so what Jayoma does is present to the judge that we can't truly prove that the suspect at hand, his client, is guilty of said crime, because of lack of evidence. Another thing regarding his telling his clients to lie. Yeah its unethical and is straight out of Better Call Saul, but this isn't as uncommon as you think. Lawyers, especially in today's economy are financially dependant on their ability to win their trials. Jayoma is not the first lawyer to do this, and he for sure won't be the last. The way these people see it, these are the means necessary to keep the lights on.

Jayoma isn’t going in there “representing guilty people”. His job is to make sure that the prosecutor can prove WITHOUT A REASONABLE DOUBT that the person is guilty. If we didn’t have these systems in place, many, MANY more innocent people would be wrongfully prosecuted.
