I love Amazon seller DiamonDouble (yes, they omit the d in diamond 😊) I have the "rose cat" and "fashion cat" They have coupons and sales regularly and their kits remind me of a mix of DAC and DD kits. The canvases look and feel similar with the scalloped finished edges very clear drill field, good stick, great rendering on mine, I think most if not all their kits have ABs included, they come with very nice supplies including wax caddy and the drills in the two I bought are excellent.
I buy all mine on Amazon I like the 30x40cm’s if I get a bad canvas I ship it back and get a new one but that’s rare, I take mine out as soon as I get them and put them in a box to lay flat while I’m working on others I really don’t have a problem with the creases once the drills are placed they flatten out, they have endless designs that I wanna do but you don’t always get the nicest drills some are super dull cut bad or dusty, I just got a beautiful wolf one that I didn’t realize was square and the drills are super dull so I was going to order replacements from Diamond Drills USA, I like the cheaper prices I don’t wanna spend 60+ on a canvas that’ll take me months to finish cause I can never wait to get to the next one and even the smaller ones from Diamond Art Club are just too pricey for me though they do have some beautiful designs I would love to have and I’m aware the drills are of much better quality.
Thank you for being one of the few popular RUclips artist that will review diamond paintings in a price range we can all afford. Love your channel and yes I've bought many DP's off Amazon, Paintgem and newcraftday.
Those are some really cute ones. I love the first one, colorful moon. It looks like it will turn out good. Can we talk about the pumpkins?!! I'll definitely be looking for your post review on that one! I especially love how it came kitted up with numeric numbers on the baggies! I use the elizabeth ward storage containers and I have then numbered with number stickers 1-75. ( That was the maxium number of colors on any kit I have ever done so far.) I never change out those stickers. I never cut the DMC symbol labels. I just have 1 system, 1-75.
@@ColorfullyOptimistic I'm going to Michaels tomorrow in the hopes I can catch a deal with a coupon. Also, Amazon Prime Day is tomorrow and Wednesday so that may be my play. I have only done one(it's a mermaid holding a fish, but just her and not the background are the only diamonds on the canvas)and I am afraid that I am hooked now lol. I want to do more!
Today Today September first day of here in Australia. Hoping you are enjoying your pumpkin spice latte. Very jealous of all the stuff you guys get to decorate your houses for each holidays in your shops and watching for the moon as I was eyeing that off on Amazon.
@@ColorfullyOptimistic its mostly an American thing to decorate for each season. We get basic Halloween stuff and Easter stuff and of course Christmas but nothing like your holiday aisles and no decor for change of season s. For instance spring here now but no spring decor stuff in stores.
My friend bought me some cheap ones and the glue dried up within a couple months and they were useless. So that made me to decide to splurge on a DAC one. It is the one i keep talking about lol. The Alice in the white rabbit house. Still working on it 😂 Its huge. Thanks for sharing. ✌
Ooooh I think I might have bought that one, but I have to double check! Yeah, the cheap ones can do that, so I tend to use them quickly and then seal them so they stay put haha.
*Hello, I'm your 98th Thumbs up. I'm a New Friend here enjoying your video. I'm a total Newbie to Diamond Painting and checking out different Videos about it. How do you seal your Diamond paintings and do you have any video's showing you doing that? I wasn't happy that I had to do my own labeling. I keep them in my bags and I used Masking tape and drew the symbol on the tape. You iron your diamond paintings to get the wrinkles out? How do you do that without ruining it? This was a Great Share I'm wanting to learn about the different companies and which ones I like best about their labeling and which ones stick best and all. The moon Drill bags you couldn't see the numbers at all on camera looks like there's no labeling. 😃😃😃* Sharon in SC
Hey there! I don't have a video showing me seal it, because I'm still playing around and trying to find which one I like the best. I typically label my plastic containers (if no labels are given) with a dry erase marker. A lot of the cheaper ones don't have labels, but that is just part of them saving on the cost.
@@ColorfullyOptimistic *I hear you about them saving money. I'm happy to say I've got a system going now & am on a roll. I'm sure new methods will develop with time. So, at the bottom of the canvas, or anywhere the company is selling it, they should be telling you the artist's name and have the proper licensing symbol at the bottom. Most of these Amazon ones either take stock images (which is perfectly fine as long as they either bought them or got the stock image from a free site), or sadly, some steal licensed artwork then sell it for like $9.
I'm weary about that one though. At least if one is defective I can return it to Amazon. I can't really do that with Temu and I've already been hearing some bad experiences with the products they sell, so I'm a little worried.
Hey! So, it is a color-code established for cross-stich and fabrics that then turned into diamond painting. Like a universal color code so you know if you go buy that same DMC color somewhere else, the color is the same as the one you had previously. You can read about it here too: www.diamondartclub.com/blogs/diamond-painting/dmc-color-chart-for-diamond-painting
Has anyone found some good, cheap diamond painting kits on Amazon too? I'd love to know what you found!
Yes I bout one from shine you need to type diamond painting tools and it Well give you what you need

Would love to see a video of you sealing these kits. I have one I need to do 😊
Oh for sure! I want to test a few sealing methods first though. Maybe I'll just test them on camera...hmmm
I love the pumpkin one. I’m gonna have to get that one.

Yes they are! Those ones you can get at craft stores (Diamond Dotz).

I’ve only bought from Amazon and Temu and I have never received stickers. I think that is only a DAC thing.
Stickers?
Hello! How do you know of the paintings are licensed when on amazon?

@@ColorfullyOptimistic OK! Thanks! I really want to make sure I get licensed work. The licensing symbol is obvious?
I did not know there is a symbol for license info. thank you for the information.
Yes. You want to make sure you see the copyright mark.
Temu has those really cheap. $1.29 to under $5. Some bigger are a little higher $10.
I'm weary about that one though. At least if one is defective I can return it to Amazon. I can't really do that with Temu and I've already been hearing some bad experiences with the products they sell, so I'm a little worried.

I've seen those... how good quality are they though
