I regularly go back and listen to the og album and seeing that it os being remade has actually brought me joy, this album has always hit hard, still does and does so even more at 30, it's wonderful.
A big part of it (for me at least) is the mix this time around let's us hear more than just mainly drums and vocals. Everyone gets to breathe this time around. Add to that Joel sounds so much more volatile and Logan-esq old man kind of angry. I have always loved Amity's sound all the way back to Sleepless Winter, but this what I always hoped for from then. Long live Amity!

Thank God, new TAA. First found this band as a freshman in high school. Now I’m 26 and married. This song really made me feel like a kid again on the way to a local show. Love this band. ❤️

Was cheated on and left in October and the thought of my kids having their family split and having to split time with them/accepting that they’d have a new man in their life put me in a deep depression to where I almost unalived myself, this album 100% saved my life just knowing I wasn’t alone. Got to take one of my daughters to see them a few months ago in sac and I’ll never forget holding my girl and singing at the top of our lungs!

Even in their failures and faults, we're still taught a lesson. Remember that. I can relate to a lot of what you're saying, my dad passed 2 years ago, this song hit me hard way before he was gone... but then again it was like he was never really there. Anger feeds grief, anger prevents us from moving on. Keep your head up, you dont have to be his mistakes.
I started to see the addiction like many did, in interviews. From someone who knows alcoholism well, it’s truly a deep hole to get out of and stay out of. Especially in the tour lifestyle. Ahren’s vocals are always amazing. I love TAA and the band needs him. They know this. They love their brother and want to be there for him through his battle with addiction. He will be ok if he really wants it. Praying for you Ahren and much love to the rest of the band. You guys rock. 🤘🏻
I am so happy they released this song as a single, it truly deserves more spotlight. Of course all the other tracks are absolute bangers too, but the lyrics in this one are so fucking raw! Joel’s willingness to scream lyrics like “I've crept through shadows and alleys, found my home on the streets Felt the cold glare of strangers as they passed over me” just hit me! Like you know he lived through that shit. Even Ahren’s delivery of the chorus is perfection! Those woah oh ohhh in the background are everything to me. Man I love this song so much. Thank you Joel for being willing to perform this song live again! Being able to go to multiple dates screaming these lyrics like a mad men was the soul cleansing I needed. Amity forever 🖤

The haters will hate. And we will let them. Some people don't attach to music as strongly as others, and that's fine. For me, it's more than what I'm hearing. First off, it's the lyrics. The message. Next, would have to be that this is actually decent quality. It's actually kind of nice to here them not using a crap ton of pitch correction just to please some loser that knows nothing about vocal capacity. These guys are older. Of course their actual voice has changed. And from a dude that scres and sings all the time, I believe they aged like a fine wine. This release was amazing and thoughtful of them.
