Why weren’t we there! What a great All-Dayer, with plenty of impressive dancing going on! Spotted quite a few familiar faces in the clip who were at the Kings Hall All-Nighter on the 6th, including James & Fiona ! Keep on, Keeping On!!
no its me that needs to thank you for rekindling my love for northern soul i'm now in the middle of sorting out my old records and having a great time playing them @@captsmith1912
so glad you kept the tracks on that they were dancing to and didn't put a track over the top like so many do and then make the dancers look like there dancing out of time to the track,. Great dayer and real N/S tunes no disco or modern played, also good to see Steve doing the vids since Judd has stopped doing them, keep them coming Steve.
Went to the monthly soul night many times in another life. Always a sell out. There was talk of pulling the Ritz down long before I moved to the Philippines 8 years ago. So glad it is still going.
It is sad that other countries appreciate our music more than we do over here in the states. Americans should be doing this too, but soul music here is just considered "Golden Oldies" and nothing more.
Always worth a watch are your videos Steve Hinds.
