Huge congrats on going full time! I use premiere pro for my videos and found it easy to learn so if you do go down that route then I think you'll be fine but totally agree it's trial and error to find what works best for you! It's rare for me to find video by European artists, it felt so familiar, I miss UK (sometimes)! The amount of golden yellow in your room and your colour palette gave me happiness. That LED is so futuristiccc I would need to cover my entire studio in those. Also: you won't regret getting a MacBook, I also bought one when quitting my job a couple of years ago, ESPECIALLY because I knew I could not have enough money to invest on something that expensive later! It's great, zero regrets. Good luckkk

omg in response to the windows video software concern on a mac, just use bootcamp! it's a native mac utility which legally allows you to dual run mac OS and windows on ur macbook. i use this frequently because of the same reason, i edit on a non mac native program, and bootcamping windows to use it allows me to keep an apple workflow while maintaing some semblance of windows :) hope this helps!
Ooh I have heard of programs like this but I was always concerned it would do something to the inner workings of the Mac which I didn’t want to mess with. I’ll definitely look into that now though thank you!! :))

Last time I bought a MacBook there was only one option so it was very straight forward! Now it’s more stressful as there are so many 🙃 Also, Eleanorneale is my go to for watching whilst I work too! Nothing like some light listening whilst you get jobs done 🤣✨👌🏻

If I may make a suggestion I’d go with the buying a new computer and sticking go with premier especially as an artist especially if you just get the creative cloud license cause photoshop and so much more ahaha though the final cut does actually work better on Mac of course and is technically more cost effective in the long run (use it for 18 months and it pays for the same amount of time as premier) if that makes sense. ;)

I’m not sure exactly how it works but I know you can basically run a windows desktop on a Mac so that you can use windows software. Hope that helped a bit!!
I know that Macbooks seem like the best choice because everybody seems to use them - but do yourself a favour, buy a prebuilt PC if you're not confident building one yourself. You will get much much better specs, you can upgrade it and install more RAM if you feel the need and - if you buy a Ryzen based system - it will be superior at multitasking and doing video editing than Macbooks. I won't go into the ins and outs of it but it's such a foolish mistake to pay all that money for a fancy brand that doesn't do half as well as spending half the money on a decent PC. Edit: well unfortunately you went and did the thing. Anyone else that is impressionable please don't waste your money like this.

Davinci Resolve is free, compatible with Mac and it’s a really great program for editing videos.

if you want to get used to final cut pro before buying it, Apple offers a 90 day free trial
Use both of your computers. Edit on one and use your other computer for your work.☺️ my dad has two computers and uses one just for searching

Do the final cut pro trial, it's 3 months free. During the trial period, you'd be able to save money!
Final Cut is super easy to learn. If you know Premiere, you’ll have no problem. Get a Mac
