You lot are just hyping Thiago too much and putting too many expectations on him. He is A+ grade Harry Winks and that means he ain't going to unlock defences. He ticks the game and distributes. Watch him play vs good teams. Until Hansi Flick he wasn't always a regular for Bayern or Barcelona

Playing Diogo Jota and Salah for the Midtjylland match has got to be the most stupid decision ever made by a Manager.
Not only did we lose Jota, we also got the Salah captaincy debacle from what should have been an inconsequential match.
Klopp have won much for Liverpool but that does not excuse his sporadic stupidity at times.
Didn't take the chances we created and in the end the result was only fair. Really poor finishing. Thiago only came on for 17 minutes and he seemed like our best player.

@@fortnajt not necessarily. We had about 4 clear cut chances which we should’ve easily scored. Our tactics were good but we were just unlucky because on another day we score all our chances and their goalkeeper doesn’t turn into prime Buffon. Could’ve easily been 4-0

I think this January Liverpool must get a center-back & pure striker. Sometimes if Liverpool's front line gets stuck like last night's game, it takes a pure striker to make the difference. The center-back is also very important considering Vandjik was injured until the end of February.
I think Thiago should still be a sub and probably come in somewhere around the 50 min mark. As much as we want him to play we absolutely cannot afford to lose him to injury again.

He stays upfront in Liverpool front line and assumes the role of striker. Even his teammates have complained him not contributing in buildup.
I have no problems in him limiting plays only inside box. I said it is affecting their game.
