Here's the thing about the drawers. They are really only meant to be opened once and left open. If you use the disc tray, you aren't going to open it, put your games in it, then after you finish playing, put the games somewhere else. Same with the charging station.
I think it's a pretty good price point. I paid 25 or 30 for the controller charging dock alone. This seems pretty legit for those who stand their console up. Mine hasn't been up since I tried to at launch. It was making a loud noise that wasn't coil whine, so it has been in the horizontal position(where it has been super quiet) since.
Glad you like it! We enjoy it and mostly like how sturdy it feels. The stand that included with PS5 never gave me much confidence and personally don’t trust it.
It also keeps it's promise it warms up 1st then the fresh air as mine's by a window I open my window to allow cook flow of air and it's like a fridge it's so cool and no stressing about it overheating as just got psvr2 so neeb on that alot
@Jeremy mines below the window so air induction is great as with the base and my rear fan it stays so cool but have 2tb ssd with heat spreader with heat sink so all warm air Is pulled out along with air from my window flowing down onto and as I said with other fan it keeps it so cool and at a relaxing temperature aswell as side pullout which I do to help filter air inductions other than fan the base is a must have 3 settings full half and auto so it will pick up if it warms up and sets it to high not just for ps5 digital/disk versatility great buy and why u left it near a place Your cat can knock it over 😅😅😅
Don't buy mine's almost killed my well cleaned well maintain ps5 started heating up and I now have plates with vents on and my bottom of ps5 is so hot I've just had to buy another from Amazon to expensive don't last long and it don't charge your controller up either don't buy trust me
What the dock does is try to cool the power supply which is at the bottom/rear of the console and the vents tend to get blocked up with dust thus causing overheating by pushing the dust upward so it will eventually exist thru the top rear vents while the rest of the excess heat thru the power supply rear vents
Not quite. It sucks the hot air out of PSU. As a person who has an overheating psu when it's really hot, both outside and inside, I got this and helps, psu is actually pretty cool.

My guess is that manufacturers will be coming out will slim version coolers soon. Here is one I found with a quick search. Seems like any review that has anything positive to say is considered paid if the person disagrees with something nowadays. Opinions can be opinions and in this case, there isn't anything major to suggest that it is greatly cooling the PS5. The fans are working though and it's still being used on our PS5.

Beyond the functionality, it also looks really cool. It makes the PS5 look like a centerpiece. Love that it matches the PS5 design theme.

Does the bottom have like rubber grips on it? So it doesn’t slide around the desk?
The new ps 5 slim sounds like a jet engine, does the cooling system stand sound like a jet engine and would it solve my problem

Not sure. If they are the same dimensions as the original plates I would assume that it would.
